[edit]This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I am One of Many (talk) 06:38, 17 February 2022 (UTC)
- I'd like some clarification on what specifically I did that classifies as vandalism, as I do not think any edit I've made has been anything but constructive. I can see you made reverts on the only page I've made contributions to. The change I made was to correct a date that was very clearly incorrect (a 1943 request for clemency in an article that discusses events that happened in the year 1999). The page was reverted (after several user updates) to not include this obvious change. I then re-added my change, as it was so minor and obvious I assumed the vandalism revert was due to the actions of another user.
- I'd also note that the current version of the page maintains the change I've made, and I essentially just adjusted the header date to match the date of the information in the following paragraph. 150.195.85.70 (talk) 18:04, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hi there IP editor. I saw your edit here while checking recent changes and thought I would respond, since it looks like @I am One of Many doesn't edit very often, and may not see this. I can only speculate, but I suspect that I am One of Many either misread the diffs or maybe intended to warn some other user and got you by mistake. I can see from the article history that there was a fair amount of vandalism happening at Cornealious Michael Anderson III at the time, but your edits were certainly not part of that vandalism. I'm sorry you got hit with a warning that you didn't deserve, and thank you for trying to help clean up that article. Squeakachu (talk) 18:32, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
