Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Kukini 17:18, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi...you should consider getting a user name. You will be able to contribute with much less resistance once you are a user on this site. Just a thought. Kukini 02:52, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Crystallizedcarbon. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Vertical bar— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 16:55, 8 July 2015 (UTC)
- If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to The Outsiders (film). I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (162.119.232.103) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! Tdc42 (talk) 02:49, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to List of people from Compton, California—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 17:46, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to List of people from Compton, California. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 17:50, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
