Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello Raymie
I grew up in the Minneapolis area and have spent many hours listening to KTIS AM & FM(among many other stations), and I have been on the campus of the University of Northwestern-St. Paul multiple times, but I haven't been there in years. I have never been a student, employee, or volunteer for the university or the station. I have tried very hard to give accurate facts without any opinions.
I would like to make a couple of additional changes, but I have been unable, as of yet to verify the information. I am quite sure when KRFG started simulcasting KDNW and KRGM started simulcasting KNWC-FM, K207ES in Hibbing, MN was moved from KDNW to KNDI and K207ES in Lynd/Marshall, MN was moved from KNWC-FM to KNWC-AM. These translators would be completely redundant staying on KDNW and KNWC-FM. Also, I am quite sure W230AN in Hayward, Wisconsin is still simulcasting KDNW and not WHSM-FM. WHSM-FM, 1,500 watt class A station, would not need a 250 watt translator broadcasting from the same tower. I believe somewhere along the way KDNW and WHSM were transposed on a form when the application was submitted to increase power from 50 to 250 watts and move to the WHSM tower with a higher HAAT.
Thanks for listening.
