February 2021

[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Jack Harper (footballer) article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 21:02, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Avid & Keen

[edit]

Hi. Please do not describe people as "keen" or "avid" football supporters. The sources you are adding don't necessarily say this, and it is a matter of opinion anyway. It should be enough to describe them as a supporter, without giving an opinion of how much of a supporter they are. At what point do they become "avid" and why are none of them not "avid"? Thanks. --~~

As I explained above, it has nothing to do with whether they are are supporter of a football club or not, it is your frequent addition that they are a "keen" and/or "avid" supporter. The source says nothing about the extent of their fanship, and it is a matter of of the opinion and not neutral. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 17:15, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There is no need to add which football team they support unless it is relevant in some way. Merely talking with Mark Lawrenson is not sufficient to make it relevant. noq (talk) 22:00, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:BRD do not add it back in to any of the articles that have been reverted until you have gained a consensus that it is relevant to the article on each articles talk page. noq (talk) 22:11, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
