Hello, I'm Rdp060707. An edit you recently made to Jimmy Wales seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. Covenant Chain
Greetings may it be well with you. Ske:no. I responded to your message to me. I want to add a source. How do I cite personal lived experience? I am Conestoga myself, and have lived this what I have written as have generations of Conestoga. I can try to dig up some sources used that I have read, but much of the information I provided is based on personal communications with Haudenosaunee people.
May it be well with you.

- Please see here which discusses what is a valid source for Wikipedia. It explicitly says that "Some sources... an editor's own personal experience are prohibited", so you cannot add what you were going to add to the article unless you have a valid source. 747pilot (talk) 23:31, 25 December 2021 (UTC)

The Jews of Leeds
- @Philip Sugarman: does not agree with your proposed title for The Jews of Leeds so you will need to have a discussion with him on the article talk page to decide what to do. We now have two near duplicate articles which isn’t acceptable. Other members of WikiProject Jewish History may have views on the matter. Mccapra (talk) 21:03, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
- I agree we can't have two versions. Looking at them the Jews in version only has about half the text. I will put something on the talk page Philip Sugarman (talk) 21:15, 26 December 2021 (UTC)
- I thought moving it would not cause duplicates to show up. I was pretty confused when I moved it because I thought when a page is moved the old page is redirected. Anyways, it's good to discuss the title. 747pilot (talk) 23:51, 26 December 2021 (UTC)

I notice you reverted my edit of this article. As you didn't give an edit summary, I'm not sure you had some particular objection to my change, or if it somehow got caught up with a batch of twinkle vandalism reversions you were doing at the time -- four of them a minute, indeed. It'd be helpful if you did use edit summaries (even a terse one like "rvv", say), and to not mark such edits as "minor" when they're very much not (other than if you're reverting as "obvious vandalism").
Good job on the actual vandalism you are catching, but maybe a little more care is needed, even if at the expense of slightly less speed. 109.255.211.6 (talk) 15:10, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Rollback
Hi 747pilot. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY 03:56, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

Recent removal on Jaffa
Hi 747. It's always hard being neutral of course. I added the ethnic cleansing note, without calling it that, because as it stood, there was no way to know that the people were expelled. There is a more lengthy if still airbrushed explanation on the main Jaffa page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Jaffa . As a mental exercise, if the taking of the Great Plains or the German taking of Poland was described without reference to slaughter or deportation, would that be considered neutral? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7000:A202:7235:211E:15B7:CAFB:EBD (talk) 15:16, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
Reversion of edits on Nicolaus Otto
I am curious to know why you reverted changes by an IP-editor on Nicolaus Otto. One could argue that Otto was not the founder of Deutz but of its predecessor (before the name change), or that this is not what Otto was primarily known for, or that the fact is not actually mentioned on the page about Otto. But he was co-founder of the company that later was called Deutz AG, as I believe is sufficiently sourced on that page. The corresponding article in the German-language Wikipedia is also unambiguous about it. Mark in wiki (talk) 12:37, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from Lisa Greer, which you proposed for deletion. The page is a biography and I think that means it can only be listed as a BLPPROD if there are no sources (and there are sources). If you still think this article should be deleted, please do not add {{proposed deletion}}
back to the page. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! DaffodilOcean (talk) 03:42, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
