I didn't notice your (fine!) article on Latvia in the 20th Century until this morning... in the last few days I've added a few entries, and one is something of a duplication of part of yours -- on the New Current. For the time being, I'll let mine stand, too -- there are quite a few entries I'd like to add and expand, and it's hard to tell how a later arrangement of them might look (I missed your article because it's less linked in than I think it should be -- I tried to link it into the History of Latvia article more appropriately by adding a line on 1905... A couple of related articles I've written are on the Latvian National Awakening and on the Young Latvians. Comments? Suggestions? (I'm new to Wiki.) Pēteris Cedriņš 10:56, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

The Latvia in the 20th Century article is copied from Latvijas Institūts webpage [1]. I was wondering about copyright. Do you have permission from Latvijas Institūts (or the person who wrote the text for Latvijas Institūts) to put their text on Wikipedia? Andris July 4, 2005 14:18 (UTC)

From http://www.li.lv/en/?id=49: "All the digital and printed information materials of the Latvian Institute can be freely distributed and cited for informative and educational purposes, on condition that the Latvian Institute is acknowledged as the source." --80.81.57.5 4 July 2005 15:56 (UTC)
