Hello. I reverted your edits to Category:Jewish surnames ([1] [2]). That's only a category for articles on names. Maybe you wish to edit or create an article on a particular name, or add to the article specifically on Jewish surnames?--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 05:55, 21 September 2011 (UTC)
- The page you keep editing is a category. It's used to sort articles (see Wikipedia:Categorization). Text about particular names isn't supposed to go in there. Which article do you want to add too? Frug? The article on Jewish surnames? Do you want to create an article that Wikipedia doesn't already have? BTW the external link you keep inserting has nothing to with the text your text. It's only a brief bio of a man surnamed Frug; it doesn't support anything about the etymology and variant-spellings of that particular surname.--Brianann MacAmhlaidh (talk) 05:10, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! I edit Wikipedia too, under the username Grafen. I noticed that one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Category:Jewish surnames with this edit, appeared to be unconstructive, and I’ve reverted it. In the future, please use the sandbox for testing and be sure to provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Please feel free to ask me questions about editing Wikipedia (or anything else) on my talk page. Grafen (talk) 21:29, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
