Full name

[edit]

Why does it matter if the full name goes onto a second line? What you're doing is stretching out the infobox beyond the default setting. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:02, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It does matter the name should all be on one line. If you get a letter or see your name anywhere it is on one line isn't it ?. Does it matter if the infobox is streched out a little ?. I have seen it on other sports pages there is no problem ?. Is there another way to get the name on one line without the nowrap ?. I think the infobox looks cleaner and looks neater when the full name goes on one line. It makes it easier for the reader also. Regards 89.204.183.102 (talk) 15:07, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Different types of texts have their own customs for how text is presented; what might be appropriate for a letter might not apply to an encyclopedic biography, which is what we're talking about here. I'm not sure I get how it makes the infobox look cleaner or neater, or why that would particularly matter anyway, when the relevant information is still presented in a perfectly readable and understandable manner. This is how text is generally presented in infoboxes; see the birth name in the infobox at Winston Churchill, as a random example. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:20, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think they look better as we have them now to be honest maybe an ocd thing i don't know, as I said the name to me looks better on one row the infobox looks great. 89.204.183.102 (talk) 16:47, 11 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
