[edit]Hello, I'm Frost. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Jack in the Box—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Frost (talk) 10:19, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Sam Hartman. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. FifthFive (talk) 03:31, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Sam Hartman. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. FifthFive (talk) 03:37, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Jeff Driskel, you may be blocked from editing. FifthFive (talk) 03:42, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
