AWSMDEWD (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I don't know entirely why I was blocked, but if I had to guess it was because I logged into this account on my middle school's IP in 2017, which was probably blocked because of vandalism by middle school students. I want to edit Wikipedia with an account instead of doing it anonymously. AWSMDEWD (talk) 17:51, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The block reason suggests you were believed by the blocking admin to have been created as a sockpuppet. I can't find out any more than that. — Daniel Case (talk) 21:13, 26 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Unblock request 2

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

AWSMDEWD (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

My account isn't a sockpuppet, this is the only Wikipedia account I've had. I'm not sure what else to say, I'm just trying to edit Wikipedia. User:AmandaNP, perhaps you could review this request, as you're still active and the one who blocked me? AWSMDEWD (talk) 00:03, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

I have consulted with AmandaNP and she endorses an unblock. Sorry for the inconvenience. Sometimes legitimate accounts get caught up in things if they're sharing an IP with someone who's up to no good. Happy editing. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 06:39, 19 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
