Box bot

[edit]

Greetings! your bot removed the entire contents of a page: [1] -- can it perhaps be tweaked? Thanks, Antandrus (talk) 04:45, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem at all ... I understand testing phases.  :) Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 04:49, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The problem was with the SG template, and it should be fixed. Yay for test runs! Adam McCormick 05:03, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

De La Salle Secondary School, N.T.

[edit]

If you have read talk page and visit the official website, you should know that "De La Salle Secondary School, N.T." is the official name. Please do not move to other name. — HenryLi (Talk) 13:51, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Disambiguation guideline is pretty clear (See talk page) Adam McCormick 20:16, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Network of Sacred Heart Schools

[edit]

Thank you for your edit to Network of Sacred Heart Schools, but I had to revert it. The Network is comprised of only 21 schools in the United States[2], so your edit completely changed the meaning of the sentence. Clearly, however, the article needs a major overhaul, something I intend to do after I get a little feedback from the community. —Travistalk 20:29, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Realized that after the edit and you beat me to revert Adam McCormick 20:30, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ha! Well, I suppose that happens sometimes. Thanks for the comments on the article talk page. That's a possible solution I hadn't considered. —Travistalk 20:36, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My Talk Page

[edit]

I was going by the convention used across Perth schools, that is; eg. "School One, Perth". This is seen throughout Perth school pages. I was merely following convention across Perth school articles. If this is a major problem, bring it up on the talk page at WP:WA, and admins will respond to your request/problem and i will "fix" it, if there is proven to be a problem. Thanks alot. Personal view - I'm a bit hesitant to apply a proposed guideline wholesale across a stack of existing articles - especially given the generally poor history of proposed guidelines in becoming actual guidelines with the backing of consensus. Orderinchaos 15:51, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The guidelines on disambiguation in general have consensus and call for parentheses. Adam McCormick 18:03, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Can you take a look at my comments on Alumni references at the talk page of WP:SCH. Thanks alot. Twenty Years 05:29, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats

Boxcrawler:Balboa High School (San Francisco)

[edit]

Keeps on changing the infobox=no to infobox=yes, which the article doesn't need (it uses template:SFHStaxobox). At the same time it is damaging the WikiProjectBanners entry by inserting extra CR's. Talk:Balboa High School (San Francisco)., Might I suggest having the bot pass over entries which have infobox=no set? -- Zedla 14:48, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, part of the purpose is to Reassess Adam McCormick 14:59, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rugby School

[edit]

I see you have again called for the section on Rugby School slang to be removed. I voiced my opinion on this some time ago on the discussion page, but I do see that the Wikiproject Schools does indicate that such things are to be avoided. However, rather than scrap it altogether (it is definitely a valuable reference), I propose making a separate page for it, rather in the same way that Eton College has separate pages for alumni, list of headmasters etc. The same could be done for Rugby's alumni. What do you say? Nick Michael 21:08, 20 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks for the barnstar! I think we got there in the end. Cheers, DWaterson 21:14, 22 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Infobox for Cadet Colleges

[edit]

I didnt use a template for infobox. Just created one on each page.

The pages that use the formated infobox are listed at: Template:Cadet_Colleges_in_Pakistan

Also,

A variant on pages listed at: Template:Cadet_Colleges_of_Bangladesh
