Paul Aguilar

[edit]

Hi, I don't want to start an edit war in the Mexico national football team article because both of us will get blocked. I just wanted to make it clear that in the current squad list, Aguilar current team, which is América, needs to be listed as his team. When the list was announced he was still with Pachuca. In the 2011 Copa América squads article Pachuca should be listed as his team, since that is the team he was in 2010–11. GoPurple'nGold24 04:23, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mexico schedule

[edit]

I don't know if they should be added, those matches are official since they are added in the FMF website, I am going to ask the users at WP:FOOTY. GoPurple'nGold24 18:18, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Matches that are not listed at FIFA.com are not sanctioned as full international A matches. Only FIFA has authority to recognise matches as full internationals, and they did not do so for the recent matches against Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador. Note, for example, that at ca2011.com, Norberto Araujo is listed as having one cap in his career, the same as the number of games he has played in this tournament. That is, his appearance in the game against Mexico on 25 June is not considered a full international cap. Is there a reason why you reverted the edits that I made, for which full reason was given, without even the courtesy of an edit note? Kevin McE (talk) 08:15, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Jonathan Orozco, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pasadena (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Raul Gudiño

[edit]

The article Raul Gudiño has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Raul Gudiño is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

September 2014

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Raul Gudiño. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 01:36, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Raul Gudiño, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]

Repeatedly recreating articles on non-notable subjects, especially those deleted following community discussion, is disruptive editing. Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alexx04, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Block

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently attempting to thwart Wikipedia's process for discussion of proposals for deletion. You have attempted to prevent discussion by removing an AfD notice from an article. When the discussion resulted in a consensus to delete you attempted to unilaterally overturn that consensus by ignoring it and repeatedly re-creating the deleted article. When the titles under which you created the article were protected to prevent you from doing the same again you repeatedly switched to other titles to evade the protection. Despite all that, the block would have been for a fairly short limited period had it not been for your edit at Talk:Manolo Gudiño where you wrote "if you delet [sic] i will do it again and again". Editors who plan to continue indefinitely defying Wikipedia policies are not welcome here. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:35, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Since writing the above block notice, I have looked at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Alexx04/Archive, and discovered that you have also used a sockpuppet account as yet another way of trying to get round consensus regarding deletion of articles. That is yet another reason for you to be blocked from editing. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:38, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

...and I see that at Talk:Alexis Fernando Mendiola too you have stated your intention to "do it again and again". Oh dear, oh dear. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:41, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I give you an apologize but you never give me a real reason to delete those articles, and when i said "again and again" was not a threat, sorry if you think that, I hope I'm not much time blocked if you review my contributions their all are about sports, i never commited vandalism, but it's your decision and i will respect.Alexx04 (talk) 22:27, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
