may I ask you to explain the removal? I could not find any interferences with the guidelines you mentioned. Thanks --Aloisdimpflmoser (talk) 18:23, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. One or more of the external links you added in this edit to the page Computer Power and Human Reason do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. You may wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. [1] MrOllie (talk) 19:28, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please explain the reason for the removal. There could not be found anything disregarding the guidelines you mentioned. J.W. is the main protagonist of the film, the other one is Ray Kurzweil. It is assumed to be of interest for readers to know that the film exists, don't you think?--Aloisdimpflmoser (talk) 19:43, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not the place to promote movies. - MrOllie (talk) 21:57, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's not promotion of movies but providing information; otherwise you have to explain how you distinct Plug & Pray from Transcendent Man or Rebel at work. Thank you.--Aloisdimpflmoser (talk) 22:03, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MrOllie, I kindly ask you again to answer the question. It was posed in an appropriate and polite manner. That would be appreciated. Please do not repeat general rules and don't make threats. Thank you. --Aloisdimpflmoser (talk) 13:04, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
