Your edits to article on Kenneth Fisher
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be a new user. I hope you will become a constructive member of the Wikipedia community.
There are various rules and conventions involved in editing here on Wikipedia. If editors believe a significant change is warranted in an article, one that other editors may be expected to question, it is good practise to write an explanation of one's proposed edit on the Talk page that accompanies the article in question, with a view to trying to establish a consensus. To keep making the same change repeatedly without giving any justification is known as "edit warring" and is disapproved of (and can even get one suspended as an editor).
You have now twice deleted an entire section of the article on Kenneth Fisher. The section might not be popular with everyone associated with Mr. Fisher, as it deals with a source of controversy related to his firm. But we are not supposed to delete text just because it is potentially unpopular -- if it is both relevant and also well-sourced (which this section is). Note that the section is also balanced in the sense of quoting both critical comments and a rebuttal from a spokesperson for the firm.
Please reconsider before you simply make the same change again. If you believe the article should be changed, please go to the Talk page for Kenneth Fisher, and make the case there in a way that seeks to convince other users that this change is appropriate.
More generally, good luck with your future editing on Wkipedia. Nandt1 (talk) 21:30, 3 January 2012 (UTC)

Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, such as the edits you made to Kenneth Fisher,. Such attempts to avoid detection, or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. TheGeneralUser (talk) 11:46, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. JohnCD (talk) 13:03, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
- I have little doubt that the same edits from IP 94.192.166.75 are also you, editing without logging in, and I have also blocked that IP for a week. After your block, if you have concerns about this article, raise them on the article talk page and try to reach WP:Consensus with other users. Failing consensus, there are WP:Dispute resolution procedures. Any further undiscussed removal of sourced material will be met with longer blocks. JohnCD (talk) 13:08, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
