AFDs

[edit]

Hello, Arnav Bhate,

Please do not post so many AFDs all at once. We have a limited number of editors who participate in AFD discussions and having to evaluate dozens or articles and sources places a burden on them. I expect low participation in most of these and several relistings of discussions. It's just overwhelming for editors to have to assess this many articles over just a week. Please consider withdrawing some and listing them again in the future and don't ever do this again. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 02:01, 25 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The category Indian express train stubs contains more than 600 articles, the majority of which are these types of articles, that I would want deleted. When such a large number of articles are posted as a bundle, editors complain that they don't have enough time to do WP:BEFORE on them. This is the reason I have posted each article individually. Also, you would find that all these articles are stubs, which would not take such a long time to evaluate. If you provide some other alternative, I would gladly pursue it next time. You don't have to bundle all 600 articles at once, maybe like 20 a week should be fine. You'll get less opposition if you start with the least notable of the bunch, most of these seem to be unnamed trains with the titles made up by the author in the format "[TERMINAL A] - [TERMINAL B] [FREQUENCY] [SERVICE TYPE]". Once most of the easy cruft is dealt with then you can start individually nominating. You could also reach out to the user FOARP who is working/worked on AfDing a large batch of articles also in the transport category (airline destination lists), maybe they could also provide advice on what you are trying to do Jumpytoo Talk 05:30, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

RMTR request

[edit]

Sorry for the meaningless ping; I didn't realize you gave an older permalink; usually people give us the link to the close itself for future reference. Anyways, I've done the move, but I'll leave post-move cleanup to you as RM closer. Sennecaster (Chat) 15:17, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that Move+ links the old permalink rather than the new one. Arnav Bhate (talkcontribs) 16:26, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have proposed a merge for the article List of Air India Express destinations to be merged into the article Air India Express, you may feel free to join the discussion at either Talk:List of Air India Express destinations#Merge proposal into Air India Express or Talk:Air India Express#Merge proposal with List of Air India Express destinations Metrosfan (talk) 13:11, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
