Hello, I'm IPadPerson. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Pixie Lott, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cheryl has had 8 top five singles: "Heartbreaker" (4), "Fight for This Love" (1), "3 Words" (3), "Parachute" (5), "Promise This" (1), "Call My Name" (1), "Crazy Stupid Love" (1), "I Don't Care" (1). That is a total of 8 songs. Furthermore, this article here states that Cheryl Cole had 6 top five singles as of December 2013. Since then, both "Crazy Stupid Love" and "I Don't Care" have gone to number one, bringing her total to 8, meaning that Leona and Cheryl are now tied for British Female solo artist with the most top 5 singles. — ₳aron 10:38, 12 December 2014 (UTC)

Hello Artur Silk:
I see that you submitted your article to the Guild of Copy Editors with a request for an edit. The way this works, and it's explained on the page, is that the articles are tackled, roughly in the order they are received, by Guild members. Depending on how busy they are, this can take 3 or 4 weeks. There is currently a drive to clear up the backlog of April's articles, so it may be some time before anyone can look at your article. If I can, I will try to have a look at it but I am helping with the April backlog so it may be a while.
Thanks for your patience.

Margaret (singer)
Hello ArturSik:
The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Margaret (singer) has been completed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
You will notice that I archived one of the article’s citations (#3). I suggest that you archive the rest of the article’s URLs as time allows. This ensures that the article's references are available "forever" and that it doesn’t develop “dead links” over time. The site I use is https://archive.org/web/. Simply copy the URL in the citation and paste it in the “Save Page Now” box on the archive.org site and click save. This creates a copy of the original page and provides you with a new URL to add to the original citation. If you look at the URL I've archived you'll see the syntax. You add the new URL to the end of the original citation like this: |archiveurl=http etc|archivedate=1 June 2016}}. Not all websites allow archiving - CBS TV news and the NY Times are two I've come across, so there's not much you can do about that unless there is an alternate citation you could use.
Kind regards,

Dlaczego co chwile wywalasz różne listy przebojów z artykułu Cool Me Down, jakby to był Twój plac zabaw? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.21.217.243 (talk) 08:45, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

Romanian peak position for "Cool Me Down"
There's also a written issue of each chart provided by Media Forest, the power for the Romanian Radio Airplay Chart. "Cool Me Down" seems to have reached its peak position here at number 14. Note that you have to combine the Romanian and international peaks to achieve an overall chart. Hope I could help, Cartoon network freak (talk) 05:38, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- I see I need to explain you some things. The Airplay 100 is powered by Media Forest and thus uses data published daily and weekly on their website. Until end of 2015 (I don't know exactly), the Airplay 100 used only the Radio Airplay data for their chart, but now the chart on Kiss FM is different because they also mix TV Airplay (also provided by Media Forest) when calculating new charts. However, it's reliable to use both sources, and if you want to, you can use two chart for the article:
- Romania (Media Forest) → 14
- Romania (Airplay 100) → 22
- I'm afraid you understood me wrong. I'm going to fix the Romanian peak on the article by myself later this day to see what I mean. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:26, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- OK, so: You can use two entries for the article:
- I'm afraid you understood me wrong. I'm going to fix the Romanian peak on the article by myself later this day to see what I mean. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:26, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Romania (Airplay 100) at number 22 ...and...
- Romania Radio Songs (Media Forest) ...so you have the official chart and one based just on the radio airplay. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:56, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- No, no you're not bothering me at all. We're here on Wikipedia to build a community not to be shy to ask some questions. In reply to your question, I now know you have not understood the things going on with the Romanian charts (it was complicated for me too at the beginning of my work here). Thus, I try to explain this to you as easily as I can once again.
- Media Forest, a reliable monitoring service, kindly provides us weekly reports of airplay in Romania (the reports are like the one I showed you, incorporating separate sections of TV and radio airplay).
- The Airplay 100, the new official chart after the cancelling of the Romanian Top 100, uses data provided by the measurements done by Media Forest. BUT, their chart renders together TV AND radio airplay statistics.
- So, now we have for "Cool Me Down" number 22 in Romania on the official chart (Airplay 100), BUT why don't include the number 14 position as well when we have raw statistics for the song ONLY on Romanian radio? Because of this I meant you can incorporate something like "Romanian Radio Songs" in the article, but NOT as an official chart for Romania (in Poland you also have Polish Dance, Polish Airplay 100, Polish Airplay New etc..)
- The article about the Media Forest chart itself questioned by you on my talk page is just a list of no1s on the radio airplay section provided by Media Forest.
Is all clear now? Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:37, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, you've heard it right, it's number 22. Also, it is her highest position there, as she falls the next week to number 27. Best regards, Cartoon network freak (talk) 20:57, 8 October 2016 (UTC)

Hello:
I've had a look at your revised article and made only a very few minor changes. It looks fine. I archived your second citation, citation #1 could not be archived, and I do urge you to archive the rest so that the article doesn't develop "dead" links. I provided you with directions you can refer to in my note after the GOCE edit.

You want to add the archived URLs now so that if the original link ceases to work, the archived link will still allow readers to see the citation.

Margaret - New Sections
Hello:
I've had a look at the new sections as you requested. I think the role model and influences could be included in the "Early Beginning" section.
The Add the Blond material should go in the 2014 section. You write that "Wasted" interpolates "Our Neighbour". Interpolates means "insert". Do you mean her song is "inspired" by "Our Neighbours"? In any case, that material should go with the other information on the song in the 2014 section. This applies to the information on "Cool Me Down" as well.
The Matt Dusk reference repeats what is already in the article so the "Artistry" section becomes unnecessary.
As to the "Public Image" section. You already discuss the "Thank You Very Much" video in the 2012-2013 section. So if you feel additional details are necessary, they should go there, I think. You don't want to overdo it though - it's only one aspect of her career. There's a fine line between it being a detail about her career and slipping over into becoming an article about the video.
The paragraph beginning "Margaret's style..." could remain in the "Public Image" section. I would move the final paragraph - "In 2014 the singer... to the "Other Ventures" section.
Hope this is useful.

Margaret (singer)
Hello:
I have now run through the revised version of Margaret (singer) as you asked, and it's writing is now GA standard. I have removed all the links to Wikipedia articles on various cities mentioned since they are incidental to the focus of the article and constitute overlinking.
I notice that many of the article's statements are supported by more than one citation. I suggest that you read this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citation_overkill and if it applies to the citations you've used, the least notable duplicate citation should be removed. You only need one reputable citation per statement.
In this paragraph
"Margaret has named the Polish singer Grażyna Łobaszewska as a role model and her biggest inspiration.[118] She has cited Miroslava Duma[119] and Gwen Stefani as her inspirations in fashion.[120] Some of her other idols are: Tom Odell,[121] India Arie,[2] Bruno Mars,[6] Jarle Bernhoft,[9] Diana Krall,[75] Rihanna,[115] Marek Grechuta,[115] Alicia Keys,[115] Jessie Ware,[115] Charlie Winston[122] and her childhood idol Agnieszka Chylińska of O.N.A..[2]"
you seem to have looked for, and included, every instance you could find where Margaret has spoken of her idols. This has the effect of turning the article into a "list". I would suggest you pick two or three of the most notable artists, list them, and then add "among others" to cover the rest.
You want to avoid turning the article into a "diary" of absolutely everything she does or says; only notable events or actions should be added now, in my opinion.
I hope this is helpful.
Regards,
Twofingered Typist (talk) 13:55, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Lady gaga and lupus
Greetings Lady gaga tested +ve for Lupus in 2010. However, the antibody levels were too low to merit a diagnosis. The movie 5' 2" never mentions she has lupus or the 2010 test. She does , however, mention a long-standing hip injury. Your references contradict all this. Since this is a biography of a living person I believe it would be prudent to remove the lupus information until a source outside of an an article about an Netflix documentary can be found. Martine McCutcheon[edit source]
Hi. To avoid edit warrings I'd like to discuss with you a couple of matters. "Whilst still in EastEnders, McCutcheon appeared in her first pantomime, playing the title role in Cinderella, at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, Kent." - this should be brought back. I read her biography and this is the only mention of pantomime. You could perhaps add a sentence stating that since appearing in cinderella she appeared in many other pantomimes but you'd have to find a reference first. the information that she was offered eastenders part when she worked at knickerbox could also be brought back with this (https://quidsinmagazine.com/martine-mccutcheon/) citation. "In reality, McCutcheon had decided to leave the soap in order to embark on a pop career" - really don't understand why you've removed that part as the citation I have provided backs up this information. it says: "She claimed to have been killed off as punishment for requesting time away to launch a music career, and that she only found out about her character's death in a tabloid newspaper ("Tiff's a Stiff" ran the headline)." Hope to hear back from you soon. ArturSik (talk) 14:45, 25 November 2017 (UTC) Hi, thanks for this, much better way! Really dont the first pantomime is relevant at all imho, or even interesting? Knickerbox not a good source as im sure you already know, and again, its not really relevant at all imho? Again, no really good source for this at all is there? She only stated it after the event, and then only in gossip mags, therefore I dont should be included at all? Hello, you may still be working on this, but can you please add your references to Philip Brodie (actor)? It's a biography of a living person so needs WP:INLINECITED sources, and at the moment it has no sources. The link is also to imdb, which is specifically banned as a source at WP:RELIABLESOURCES. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 17:04, 27 December 2017 (UTC)

It might be bacause I haven't got enough experience but as a person who has never heard of the man and the story after reading this I have no questions meaning in my opinion there's everything that there needs to be. Whenever you decide to nominate it for FA let me know and you've got my support. ArturSik (talk) 20:56, 1 January 2018 (UTC)
- Ceranthor sure thing. ArturSik (talk) 14:18, 1 January 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Lorraine Stanley, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Waking the Dead and Karen Taylor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). I made a comment on this image and the DR is withdrawn. Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 01:56, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- Leoboudv Thank you. Do I now remove the deletion template from the photo’s page ? ArturSik (talk) 08:10, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
- No. An Admin will remove the deletion template once he/she closes the DR. But the image is passed so you can use it on wikipedia. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 08:52, 13 January 2018 (UTC)
belated congrats
Don't think I ever got around to congratulating you on Margaret (singer) achieving FA status. You should be very proud of your work! ceranthor 16:22, 23 February 2018 (UTC)

Margaret
Hey Artur, I just wanted to thank you for asking me to review Margaret's article and bringing her to my attention. She's really good. I recently listened to "Cool Me Down" and it's fucking amazing. Especially the end. PanagiotisZois (talk) 14:56, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
- Hey. I'm glad to hear that:) ArturSik (talk) 15:16, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Margaret
Thank you for quality articles about female singers, such as Margaret (singer) including song, discography, awards and blue vibes, for list of awards and nominations received by Lacey Turner and your contributions to Lady Gaga, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Lady Gaga
The new photo in Lady Gaga's biography is badly edited, could you change it? I can change it for a much better photo, but I can not edit the page. AstonMartinX (talk) 01:04, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

Gaga Golden Globes
Regarding this just wanted to explain that the film version of "Hello Hello" was nominated for the Golden Globes, on which Gaga is featured as a singer as well as songwriter. Hence the Academy included her name in the nomination. Hope that makes it clear :) —IB [ Poke ] 20:48, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
- IndianBio oh, sorry. I knew there were two versions of the song and only checked the golden globes' artcile from that year to make sure which one was nominated and it didn't mention gaga so i removed it but yes my bad I probably should've checked the source that was provided. ArturSik (talk) 20:55, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
Wanted to express how much I like your work in this article. Did some reference tidying up through scripts and some loose-end tie-ups. You are a great editor!! —IB [ Poke ] 13:52, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- IndianBio thanks:) really appreciate it. ps. I've noticed you removed the 'publisher' value from some citations. why's that? ArturSik (talk) 14:12, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- ArturSik, publisher is usually not required if the work/website parameter is present per {{cite web}} templates. —IB [ Poke ] 14:17, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
- I see, thanks:) ArturSik (talk) 14:19, 4 December 2018 (UTC)

IndianBio do you think it is worth mentioning in her bio that the "Byle jak" music video was one of the 10 most watched Polish music videos on YT in 2018 or better to include it only in the song's article? ArturSik (talk) 20:26, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- I think thats only for the song article. —IB [ Poke ] 20:27, 6 December 2018 (UTC)

Requested copy edit of Jennifer Aniston
Hello, ArturSik. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Jennifer Anniston at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! |
Note that I added a few tags about questionable sources. Overall the article is in good shape; I trust people with more subject-specific expertise than I can help balance it just right. One thing that did concern me is the extensive discussion of Aniston's ancestry—does that really reflect what the reliable sources think is significant? Kim Post (talk) 08:20, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
- Kim Post Thank You so much. I will take all that on board and will try to replace questionable sources. As for her ancestry I do agree that the article is a bit cluttered with that and I think her parents' roles are definitely redundant since they both have their own articles. I'm not sure how much of that should be removed tho and I don't want to get rid of something that could potentially be significant this is why I requested the article to be peer reviewed so I guess all will come out there. ArturSik (talk) 12:26, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
Hi. I'm letting you know that I've reverted your changes to the 'Awards and nominations' table at the article. Adding missing notable awards is fine, and adding missing sourcing is great. But completely changing the format of the table to an inferior version that does not follow WP:ACCESS properly is not. If you need help with the following WP:ACCESS part (it involves using 'rowspan' properly), please let me know. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:18, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
- New version is better, but is still not WP:ACCESS-compliant. The way you're using 'rowspan' in the 'Nominated work' column is really, really bad in WP:ACCESS terms. I advise moving that column to second in the order, just after the 'Year', and then you need to 'rowspan' the 'Nominated work' column to match 'rowspan' use in the 'Year' column. Again, if you need help, just ask... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:41, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
- Mostly better now. There are still some 'rowspan' problems in the 'Refs' column, but that's easily fixed. Also, there is the option to 'rowspan' the 'Year' and 'Nominated works' columns together, but that's a bigger job than I want to tackle the moment... Thanks for being willing to work together on this! --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:55, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
- IJBall not sure if that's what you meant but fixed rowspan in the refs column. Also could you be more clear what you would like me to change in the Year and Nominated works columns? do you mean using rowspan in 'year' in order to cut down the number of each year to one? Year | Nominated for | Award | Category | Result | Ref. |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
2008 | Coronation Street | TV Now Award | Favourite Newcomer to Irish | Nominated | [1] |
2008 | Coronation Street | British Soap Award | Best Newcomer | Won | [2] |
2008 | Coronation Street | Inside Soap Award | Best Couple (with Jack P. Shepherd) | Nominated | [3] |
2008 | Coronation Street | Inside Soap Award | Best Newcomer | Nominated | [3] |
2009 | Coronation Street | TV Now Award | Ireland's Sexiest TV Star | Won | [4] |
2009 | Coronation Street | British Soap Award | Sexiest Female | Won | [5] |
2009 | Coronation Street | Inside Soap Award | Sexiest Female | Won | [6] |
- But you can also do this:
Year | Nominated for | Award | Category | Result | Ref. |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
2008 | Coronation Street | TV Now Award | Favourite Newcomer to Irish | Nominated | [7] |
British Soap Award | Best Newcomer | Won | [8] | ||
Inside Soap Award | Best Couple (with Jack P. Shepherd) | Nominated | [3] | ||
Inside Soap Award | Best Newcomer | Nominated | [3] | ||
2009 | Coronation Street | TV Now Award | Ireland's Sexiest TV Star | Won | [9] |
British Soap Award | Sexiest Female | Won | [10] | ||
Inside Soap Award | Sexiest Female | Won | [11] |
- The second example table is actually still WP:ACCESS-compliant, in that it is using 'rowspan' "correctly". --IJBall (contribs • talk) 04:16, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

- IJBall I thought that's what you meant but don't you think it would look a bit weird if we did that? I think it could work if the nominated work was different for each year but since it doesn't change we would be repeating it and while we do that now we provide the title for every single nomination separately whereas if we where to 'rowspan' year and nominated work together we would have multiple cells with the same title one after another. I don't know it just looks a bit odd to me + if the current one meets WP:ACCESS requirements then why not just leave it as it is? ArturSik (talk) 04:38, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
- In general, I actually prefer the first version for 'Awards' tables over the second. Note: If you use the first version, then the 'Nominated work' column doesn't need to be the second column – for that version, you can put 'Nominated work' back to where you originally had it... e.g.:

- However, if you have lots of awards "per year", as we do with Michelle Keegan, then using the second version with the 'rowspan' is more "justified", and is even "preferred" by many editors. FWIW... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 04:45, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
List of awards and nominations received by Michelle Keegan is back to violating WP:ACCESS, as per the above discussion. Please fix. Thanks. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 21:40, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
