Same-sex marriage

The summary section of a WP entry doesn't need citations unless it says something controversial (like the opening sentence of this particular WP entry where people have quarreled about what it is actually called) or involves a quotation. What is said about France is fully documented in the body of the entry under "France". If anything, citations in the summary should be removed or transferred below and some unnecessary detail eliminated from the summary section. That's what I did with respect to France.
