Hi, Belugaboy. In a July/August 2010 policy discussion (at Wikipedia talk:What Wikipedia is not/Archive 34#Does WP:NOTMYSPACE apply to secret pages?), community consensus was that the policy Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not prohibits secret pages. Would you tag for deletion the page User:Belugaboy/purple with {{db-userreq}}? Thank you, Cunard (talk) 01:25, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Belugaboy, Do NOT for one second listen to what Cunard has just told you to do, that user has been demanding users all over wikipedia delete their "secret" pages, whilst I do not have an opinion on secret pages nor do I have a secret page, I do not and will not stand for one user walking around demanding people CSD tag their own pages without firm policy on the matter, A discussion on a talk page is NOT policy. If Cunard has a problem with my comment I suggest he visit my talk page and demand I delete some of my user pages. Regards ZooPro 04:25, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- I asked Belugaboy to tag his page for deletion because it violates Wikipedia policy. The discussion linked to above was a request for comment listed at WP:CENT. It affirmed that the addition of WP:UP#GAMES (which includes secret pages) to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not was correct. It also affirmed that secret pages "create an inappropriate ethos" at Wikipedia. Cunard (talk) 04:53, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- You are very incorrect if you think it violates policy, the policy does not list it as a violation instead lists it as "frowned upon". That is not a ban on "secret" pages (which are not secret and are easy enough to find) and you are misleading people into thinking this. Regardless of what "ethos" secret pages create I am sure the project and users in general have far more to be concerned with then starting a war on secret pages. ZooPro 08:16, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Dont get me wrong though some user pages deserve to be deleted as they are just pompus crap, I have an issue with the way you are going about your interaction with other users. ZooPro 08:19, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

WP Basketball
I've tried to get some interviewees for your WP Basketball article, but I keep getting responses claiming that the project is not very active. Here are some replies other editors left on my talk page, including some suggestions:
Thanks for the invite. To be honest, I think Wikipedia's basketball coverage is generally pretty awful, so I don't know if I'm the person you're looking for. :) Although I've made thousands of edits to basketball articles, my efforts over the last couple years mainly consist of reverting vandalism or cleaning up other messes. Most articles haven't gotten much better on my watch; I'm just trying to keep them from getting worse. Zagalejo^^^ 05:50, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, I think that the interview should focus more on WP:NBA and WP:CBBALL. WP:BBALL is pretty much a "dead" project from what I know. Disclosure: I am a member of WP:NBA.—Chris!c/t 06:14, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
-Mabeenot (talk) 03:52, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
- BTW. It's not too late to switch to WP:NBA, which may yield a larger number of interview respondents. -Mabeenot (talk) 03:10, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Adam Dunn
I have reverted your edits to Adam Dunn because the deal is not complete. Dunn will not join the White Sox until a deal is finalized, which includes his passing a physical. Those physicals are more than a formality, as players do fail them from time to time. --Muboshgu (talk) 14:44, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Bottlenose Dolphin
Hello there, you recently nominated Bottlenose dolphin for WP:FAR. FAR is for featured articles which no longer meet FA criteria (WP:WIAFA). What I think you meant is a WP:FAC. I don't think the article is quite up to standards, organisation wise, but shouldn't be hard. So nominate at FAC, not FAR :) Cheers, Chipmunkdavis (talk) 18:12, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Hello! My name is Belugaboy, and by now, you and I both have heard of the Motto Shop, and if not, there's a Motto Shop! It's an exclusive place where users can get their own motto to live by on the wiki. It's great, but we're really running slow, in fact, we haven't seen a customer in months. So we thought YOU, the contributors to Motto of the Day, could spread the word to your WikiFriends, heck, order yourself one, whether you have or haven't before. Thank you and warm regards to all of you!

Report on WP India
Since you've shown interest in doing WikiProject India next month for the WP Report, you need to know that this project is hoping for a massive media blitz in November that may include other sections of the Signpost. The WP Report interview is bound to have a large number of respondents, which may take some time to edit. Re: India project on Signpost
Hi Belugaboy, I will participate in the interview for the India project. Please give me some time to add the responses. I joined Wikipedia in November 2005. I had started the WikiProject India page in July 2006, but the India project was preceded by the Noticeboard for India-related topics that was started in December 2004 by User:Improv. User:Nichalp, User:Sundar, User:Pamri, User:Arunram, User:Gurubrahma (and others) were the original team that started work on India-related articles. I felt there was a need to setup a project page and organize the article assessment and task forces under it (got the idea from looking at WikiProject Australia).
I don't think there is a project coordinator at this time. I feel it lacks the leadership of yesteryears. The difference between now and then is that there is lot more activity happening offline now. And that's a good thing for growth. I hope it will turn out to benefit Wikipedia in the long run.
File:Wikimedia_India_Community_Newsletter_2010_September.pdf, File:The_India_Chronicles_(150dpi).pdf and Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Self-assessment will give you good pointers. Thank you. — Ganeshk (talk) 23:38, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Deleted entry
Dear Belugaboy,
I was notified that you deleted my entry on the Serif WebPlus X5 page.
The page has all positive information about a product produced and sold by Serif. In effect it is "free" advertisement. The page is not telling complete and true information.
I purchased the product and then found out about the information posted on Wikipedia that was not as posted (use of the word false would be accurate). This was information I wrote and asked about BEFORE purchase of the product.
I made a post telling my opinion of what was advertised (yes advertised on your site) incorrect. My post was not an attack, it was simply telling about what the product feature and function required of the used.
You accept false advertisement but delete true comments about that advertisement. What I wrote was verifiable and Serif did refund my money when they were confronted with the false information. What they wrote is not verifiable, why don't you delete their false information? You are editing based on your opinion, or are you paid by the advertisers?
What is Wikipedia, a large advertisement posting board for use by a company, or is it a place for us (the people of the world) to LEARN about things in our world - Hopefully to learn TRUE information?
Thank you, Randall Ellis — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.47.69.129 (talk) 00:29, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
Inappropriate revert
Hi, you reverted an edit where I removed a copyright violation from Columbia Sussex, and also left an unsuitable "welcome" warning on my talk. Please be a little more careful with your tool usage. Toohool (talk) 05:02, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
- Just a quick observation. I noticed that some of your reverts you made weren't blatant vandalism. The edits you reverted (such as this one) aren't vandalism, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be reverted. When you are dealing with edits that appear to be good faith, just inappropriate, you might consider unchecking the "warn offending editor" box on the STiki revert pannel, as it sends the user this message. SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker.

Hi Belugaboy, Hi878, and WVRMad,
I made a strange request at Motto Shop. I would like to ask you if it is possible to have a motto at Motto Shop for today and (eventually) to deliver it to Wilhelmina Will and all editors at MotD. And...
Pjoef has given you some caramel and a candy apple! Caramel and candy-coated apples are fun Halloween treats, and promote WikiLove on Halloween. Hopefully these have made your Halloween (and the proceeding days) much sweeter. Happy Halloween!

Re: Your Motto Shop Request
Hello Belugaboy, thank you so very much. Well, my idea was a little bit different. My intention was to have it delivered to some editors for Halloween. This is the reason why I have not chosen a template/package. I wanted a "darkish" one. Maybe next year. May I ask you to copy your version for "...children of the night..." to MotD/Noms/Ir/Listen to them. Children of the night....? It's better than the original. All the best. –pjoef (talk • contribs) 10:41, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Re: Awan - Disambiguation page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Awan)
I have not vandalised the page in question, in fact the addition I have removed is inappropriate, as it has no place on a disambiguation page, because it is a reproduction of an existing Wikipedia article (Awan [Pakistan]), save for an inaccurate addition being made by a user who is attempting to pass off a Rajput tribe (the Gungals) as Awans. 92.20.12.92 (talk) 21:29, 6 November 2011 (UTC)

Warning Me Re: Jim Morrissey
Hi! You just posted a warning on my talk page about my reversion of an IP's edit on Jim Morrissey. It may help if I explain the rationale for my reversion: It was an unsourced addition of information regarding the sexuality of Morrissey's son from an anonymous IP contributor(which can be considered as potentially dubious), it puts the emphasis that Morrisey's son "IS gay" which is completely unneccessary, and finally how does the (possible) sexuality of Morrissey's son and the acceptance of the son's sexuality at school have any importance to an article about the boy's father? Thank you, RA0808 talkcontribs 21:41, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Revert
Could you please point out what edit i did that was "unconstructive" on Timeline of events preceding World War II i was reverting a vandal (and preceeding that i added a bit about the anchluss). User:Goldblooded (Talk/Discuss)(Complain) 15:48, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
Show me the link where i "vandalised" the page? User:Goldblooded (Talk/Discuss)(Complain) 16:00, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
- Two things, Belugaboy: first, WP:DTTR. Second, it's plainly obvious that Goldblooded simply reverted the wrong IP edit - this IP added the line in question, not Goldblooded. Please take a little more time to examine situations before you accuse someone of vandalism. Parsecboy (talk) 16:01, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
- That's roughly what I was coming to say. Whilst templating the regulars isn't a great thing generally, it's clear Goldblooded didn't add the information. You should also be aware that editors are allowed to remove warnings from their pages - per WP:TPG WormTT · (talk) 16:05, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
Thanks guys for helping me out , Nice to have some support once in a while -i really appreciate it. Yeah it was partially my fault because i simply didnt realise that another IP had actually reverted the vandals edit, anywho no harm done :P User:Goldblooded (Talk/Discuss)(Complain) 16:09, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
Not meaning to pile on but to be fair you could of assumed a little more faith and not accuse people of things they havent done as that could also be counted as a personal attack ,see Wikipedia:ACCUSE#Accusation. At any rate i appreciate you were genuinelly doing a little page patrolling which is a task that without it wikipedia would soon be useless, but just look at the little details and familiarize yourself with some of the rules we pointed out before sparking a conflict :P, paticulary if its on someones talk page! User:Goldblooded (Talk/Discuss)(Complain) 16:19, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
