Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Passport, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Don't use your own understanding of Bible verses on Passport. Read WP:PRIMARY, WP:OR. Your interpretation has to be supported by a reliable source. Capitals00 (talk) 02:08, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
- I've since added several journal citations. Really you could've taken ten minutes to do it yourself, or at least open a discussion on the Talk Page before needlessly removing relevant information. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 23:10, 24 March 2023 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your feedback, where do I need to add source material? I am related via my grandad Tom Aherne, also what words are spelling errors? Thanks Aherne03 (talk) 23:11, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Aherne03, I think you've reached out to the wrong user. I'm not familiar with your edits, but in general content must be backed up by reliable sources. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 12:40, 12 February 2024 (UTC)

Notices of poll
Good work sourcing the Notice of Poll for the various local authorities. They really do each organise their websites in different ways! Iveagh Gardens (talk) 14:53, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Iveagh Gardens Thanks! Some council websites are truly terrible, I couldn't find a proper notice of poll for all of them but I'll keep looking. The pages missing a notice of poll are fairly well sourced at this stage anyways so I'm not too worried. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 15:20, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
- I think the only election pages missing an actual notice of poll now are Louth and Tipperary. I could be wrong though. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 16:06, 26 May 2024 (UTC)

On the 2024 Donegal Local elections page, there is a candidate standing in two LEAs. Should he be counted twice or just once? Ultimately he will have to choose which LEA to take his seat in if (big if) he gets elected. Lough Swilly (talk) 11:29, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- There are many candidates running in multiple LEAs in several council elections. For calculating candidates totals by party, I have been counting them more than once, as they are standing in more than one area. I don't have strong feeling on how the should be counted though. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 14:11, 30 May 2024 (UTC)
- If that's how it's done everywhere else that's fine. Ireland Votes does the same, but they include a little note about them standing in another LEA. Lough Swilly (talk) 07:58, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
2019 Irish local elections articles
I've noticed that a lot of 2019 Irish local election articles don't have the infobox updated as to who controls the council following that election. Do you know as to who did five years ago? The ones I looked at are the ones tagged as a current election for this years elections. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 14:35, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know unfortunately. I wouldn't even know where to look to be honest with you. Boardwalk.Koi (talk) 14:10, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
