Disambiguation link notification for July 31
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of assassinations in Asia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hazara. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:15, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

"Stampede"
Please do not use the word "stampede" in relation to people unless there is unambiguous evidence of flight from deadly danger. Scientific consensus is firm that there is no such thing, it is an invention by those who failed in their duty and prefer to blame the victims. See Crowd crush. Both additions you made to list of fatal crowd crushes were crushes. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 00:07, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Attacks on U.S. diplomatic facilities. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 23:13, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Aloha27 talk 18:37, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to List of fatal crowd crushes, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Meticulo (talk) 15:17, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

Welcome!

Attribution for splits
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Terrorism in the Philippines into List of terrorist incidents in the Philippines. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 03:10, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. I did put reference just not sure whether I had to put refs at the end of every paragraph. Borgenland (talk) 03:14, 20 April 2023 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Borgenland! Your additions to Terrorism in the Philippines have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 13:53, 20 April 2023 (UTC)

Links to disambiguation pages on List of members of the Canadian Parliament who died in office (1900-1949)
Thanks for your edits to List of members of the Canadian Parliament who died in office (1900-1949), List of members of the Canadian Parliament who died in office (1950–1999) etc, but you are adding lots of links to disambiguation pages. It is generally better for the reader to link to specific articles. One tool to help with this highights links to dab pages - go to your "Preferences" in the drop down list (top right) & click the tab for "Gadgets", then scroll down to "Appearance" & put a tick in the box next to "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange". This will highlight links to dab pages. Thanks.— Rod talk 08:00, 22 April 2023 (UTC)

Wagner leaks to GUR
I don’t want to cause any trouble but are leaked Pentagon docs reliable? I almost posted them but if Yevgeny Prigozhin seriously made that offer to Ukrainian intelligence. Then Prigozhin would be dodging Po- 210 or Novichok for the rest of his mortal life. Jjmclellan82 (talk) 02:06, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
- Well the important thing is that it was reported in a reliable newspaper and the allegations were serious enough to warrant a response from Prigozhin and the Kremlin Borgenland (talk) 02:09, 16 May 2023 (UTC)

List of rail accidents (2022)
Hello, I recently noticed that multiple entries on the list were removed for reasons I find to be entirely fair, and I appreciate the assistance with keeping the page tidy. However, I was wondering if one entry could be returned to the list. (I do not want to add it back without a discussion so as not to appear spiteful.)
The January entry where a Los Angeles commuter train struck a small aircraft (and its citation) failed to mention that the aircraft's pilot was hospitalized for the injuries he received in the crash landing, which can be seen in released footage of the pilot's rescue and the collision. Also, since police pulled him from the wreckage prior to the collision with the train, I figured I would seek your opinion prior to putting it back.
It involves an injury and is a very unique incident, but the fact that the train did not cause the pilot's injuries is why I am here. Would you allow the entry to be added back with a better citation that mentions the injuries, or will you continue to uphold its deletion. Let me know and I will act accordingly. Thank you! Hotdog with ketchup (talk) 18:29, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- I did think of it quite longer. Though I removed it due to lack of injury as per guidelines I do concede that such occurrences are horribly rare. As such, I won’t mind if it gets restored. Borgenland (talk) 18:45, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

- Hi. Could you please restore Ocampo's full quote in Analysis, and the "various analysts..." part too? If you read Ocampo's full statement, it also could be considered analysis, and I think it should be there as full, and the first sentence you removed also should be included in Analysis. I hope you don't mind restoring. Thanks. - Kevo327 (talk) 15:00, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

AGF and Nigerien crisis
Hi!
I wanted to point out that sometimes people do dumb or ignorant stuff. Recently someone thought "Russo-Ukrainian War" needed a dash and MOVED THE PAGE. I don’t think anyone ended up trouting them properly for it.
I generally find it’s best not to say stuff like "obvious vandalism" in a rv summary unless it’s something like substituting "meth heads" for "Mormon settlers" or inserting "block me fore i do something wild".
It also appears that the offending user has received neither a vandalism warning nor an explanation of their mistake.

Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Next time i will have to report you. Stephan rostie (talk) 05:32, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- I was paraphrasing and not vandalizing. Stop being hot-headed and thinking hasty generalizations immediately of other users. And there is a proper stylized template for that rather than barging in and making absurd threats like that. Borgenland (talk) 05:36, 8 October 2023 (UTC)

Alumim massacre article changes
Hi Borganland, thanks for the edits you did on this article. I need to apologize for a misunderstanding that might have occurred. The article cam up at AN/I as missing citations and being badly written. I committed to doing a rewrite as an editor not originally involved in the article. Your edits were done after I’d put up my rewritten lead, but not the main body of the article. When I did update the main body your:
- 1st edit to the lead would have remained (thanks for that it does read better). Your comment re being pushed back when dead is the problem I had with this wording from the original article. Since I couldn’t find citation for either of the "citation needed” tags I put in the lead, I have now softened the wording to fit the citations.
- 2nd edit was overwritten by my rewrite of the article body. I changed this so much that I don’t think your edit applies, but you might want to check that.
- 3rd edit removing a video mention, was one I also made in my rewrite for the same reason you gave. There is still mention of a video made made of another militant caught at Alumim. I have changed the wording related to this (removing what was said in the video) and noted that the circumstances of the recording are unknown. I don’t think it’s editorially ethical to place too much weight on a recording that may have been coerced, whether from a militant or someone who was kidnapped.
I left long comments on the talk page stating most of the changes I made if you’re interested. Thanks again for your work on the article. Ayenaee (talk) 23:28, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- It's OK, I'll look into it from time to time. My apologies I didn't inform you all in the incidents noticeboard earlier. Borgenland (talk) 00:28, 5 November 2023 (UTC)

1R breach and false edit summary
"It was not the first time Gendelman was called out for peddling misinformation about Palestinians. Last week, the diplomat shared what he called a "must watch" video allegedly showing dogs belonging to the Israeli militarys chasing Hamas fighters in tunnels under Gaza." is in the New Arab source, and which I correctly summarized as "once again" and that was incorrectly removed by you. Also The Daily beast is not deprecated, RSP merely advises caution when using in relation to living persons but here it is simply additional confirmation of the New Arab source.
Together with your earlier revert of one of my edits, you have in addition breached the 1 R restriction. I am going to let it go this time but if there is any repetition I will file a notice for enforcement without any further warning.
Thank you for your attention. Selfstudier (talk) 18:07, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- I meant to say that you mentioned Gendelman was caught ONCE AGAIN even though this is Gendelman’s FIRST mention in the 2023 Israel-Hamas War article. I advise you check the whole article before you inadvertently leave other readers guessing where was his first instance mentioned. Borgenland (talk) 18:15, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- Rubbish, he was caught once again (ie more than once), what I wrote was correct, if you can't understand English don't edit Wikipedia. Selfstudier (talk) 18:25, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
- So why couldn’t you just provide an exact numeric value? It’s just simple. Gendelman was never mentioned in the article until you installed it. And you insertion was very minimalistic and honestly sounded a bit NPOV (unless you could have elaborated further on what Gendelman said)
- And lastly, I find your parting message in bad faith being a resident of one of only three English speaking countries in our time zone. Frankly, I would consider taking that to noticeboard but since you agreed not to escalate your earlier beef with me, I will not be doing the same to be fair. Vicente de Vera (politician)
Hello, and thanks for creating Vicente de Vera (politician). You moved it from Vicente de Vera for disambiguation: for which other article does (or will) it need to be disambiguated? Thanks, Wikishovel (talk) 16:00, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Honestly, I am confused. Because at Wikipedia:Tambayan Philippines/Requests the name is disambiguated, whereas in List of senators of the Philippines it is not. And as far as I'm concerned the request section refers to the Senator because it is listed under the Congress subsection. At the time I made the article, I had those two pages open, making me wonder why one stayed redlinked and the other was not so I followed with the disambiguation, but I understand that since it is not disambiguated originally at the senators' list so I acknowledge that I may have made a mistake in moving it. Borgenland (talk) 16:04, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- No problem at all. Sometimes unnecessary parentheses are added in good faith to a whole pile of redlinks: I've seen this for lists of government departments, albums, and so on. Happy to move it back, and if another Vicente de Vera article comes along, then we can always disambiguate again. Cheers, Wikishovel (talk) 16:14, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

2024 in the Philippines
Greetings! I appreciate your recent efforts to update 2024 in the Philippines. However, please bear in mind that not all news events are worth including there. Only events that have the potential to impact the Philippines in the medium to long term are worth including. As a general rule of thumb, you can ask yourself this whenever you are about to add an event: Will I still remember this event five to ten years from now? If your gut tells you "no", then don't bother adding it. For more information, read Wikipedia:NOTNEWS. Cheers! signed, Pat talk 15:46, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Barattiiman
I see that you reported him at ANI for false statements, prior warnings, and general incoherency. I've dealt with him a few times at Portal:Current events, where he, like you said, has a history of general incoherency. I hadn't noticed it for a little while, but sure enough, he's done it again.
Overall, if you filed some sort of CBAN proposal at ANI on WP:CIR grounds, I'd be a strong support since I'm starting to seriously doubt his ability to constructively contribute in the English language. I don't quite have the expertise to file an ANI case on a user I haven't been directly party to longer-term, however; as I said, it had been a little while since I directly cleaned up a mess he left. WikiProject tagging
Hi there, thank you for all your contributions! I noticed you're doing a lot of WikiProject tagging of article talk pages recently, and wanted to let you know that ideally such banner should go inside the banner shell (i.e. Template:WikiProject banner shell), rather than outside like you did at Talk:Anton Agošton. There is also no need to include |class=
on individual WikiProjects, as they inherit it from the banner shell. You may want wish to look at more semi-automated tools for this task, such as WP:RATER. -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:29, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry about that. My hands sometimes get tired of typing that I tend to copy things from the shell template or whatever the last article I copied it from. Will try to be more careful. Borgenland (talk) 13:30, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- I personally find using WP:RATER saves me some typing, so is probably worth a look if this is an area of interest to you too. -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:34, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
- Not to pile on, but it would also be helpful if you could please add the
|living=
and|listas=
parameters when you add {{WikiProject Biography}}, so you don't add the page to Category:Biography articles without living parameter and Category:Biography articles without listas parameter. Thanks! GoingBatty (talk) 23:07, 19 February 2024 (UTC)- P.S. I should add those parameters belong in the banner shell ideally too, thanks. So {{WikiProject Biography}} then inherits them from the shell. :-) But it's not a big deal, as a bot will eventually correct things like that. -Kj cheetham (talk) 19:17, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

Request unblock
Borgenland (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 136.158.43.173. I am also confused. I haven’t been editing for almost 24 hours because my cat just died and I am temporarily in a different domicile, which is why I am using a different wifi network which is probably the cause of this. No one has been complaining about my edits and I do not have any pending cases at ANI/AIV or SPI. Borgenland (talk) 13:16, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Confirmed proxy. See Template:Blocked p2p proxy for more details. I'm really sorry to hear about your cat, cats are fabulous. Yamla (talk) 13:40, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
For the record though, am I assuming that this is because I am accused of being a sock? Or is it a problem with the wifi at my current location? Or is it the fact that I my account is open on my laptop as well as my phone at the same time? Borgenland (talk) 14:12, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- If you have been abusing multiple accounts, I certainly suggest you stop. But we have no reason to believe you've been abusing multiple accounts (WP:SOCK), it's just a problem with the wifi at your current location. If you are planning on being here more than just a few days, WP:IPBE may be an option for you. --Yamla (talk) 14:16, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- My only other account is transparently declared on my Userpage with legitimate justification. As for the internet, I’m only in transit in my current location. I expect to be back at my one of my 2 permanent addresses within the next day though it will take some hours by road. I hope this clears things up since this is the first time I have had this problem, which came about without a formal blockage notice and popped up only as I was about to make a routine edit. Borgenland (talk) 14:20, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Clarify: accused of being a sock, not being a sock in itself. That misunderstanding was made in confusion when the request was denied. 14:24, 9 March 2024 (UTC) Borgenland (talk) 14:24, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- I see you did indeed appropriately declare an alternate account. Again, I have no suspicion that you've done anything wrong here. You just happen to be using an IP address that functions as a proxy through no fault of your own. To be clear, I haven't looked at the technical evidence, but that's specifically because I have no suspicion here. :) --Yamla (talk) 19:45, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- It’s fine. I’m currently out of my last location and currently using mobile data on the road. I have been able to edit normally since. Thanks for the clarification. Borgenland (talk) 19:58, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to 2024 Western Russia incursion: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Firestar464 (talk) 11:59, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm just unsure whether to give a warning because I fear that they, assuming that they are bona fide trolls, would relish it if someone bothered to give attention to them. I will issue a sterner warning if they come back. 12:06, 13 March 2024 (UTC) Borgenland (talk) 12:06, 13 March 2024 (UTC)

Do you have...
...any thoughts/ suggestions on this this ? Saqib (talk) 17:18, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
- I’ve been trying to fix that article due to tons of grammatical errors, tons of redundancies, generic and fictitious author names in refs and sections that seem to have been copy-pasted from newspapers from time to time, which unfortunately is also prevalent in a lot of Pakistani politicians’ biographies I have handled since February. However, I'm seeking opinions on whether I'm heading in the right direction and if there are any areas that need improvement. - So far it is grammatically coherent. My suggestion is for a separation to be made with her Early life and education against her personal life. I have lingering suspicions about the length of the political career, but I think it has to do with the sources, some of which may be compromised given the political and media climate in Pakistan, though determining which sources are suspicious is beyond my capacity as someone who doesn't live in the country and since there has been no serious discussion of reliability of Pakistan based sources in previous arbitration discussions. So far, in my experience, I trust Dawn but not sure about the others unless they are reporting on plain accidents and incidents. I suggest closely scrutinizing the hagiographic-sounding ones first before moving on to possible muckracking. Borgenland (talk) 06:35, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Well based on my assessment, nearly all of the sources currently utilized in this BLP can be deemed reliable, though they may not be of the highest caliber. Considering the standards prevalent in Pakistan, these sources suffice, although Dawn itself has faced criticisms at times despite being the nation's leading news outlet. Anyways, I will split the Early life and education section as suggested and create a new section for her personal life. I still encourage you to go through the political career section and offer suggestions for further subsections. We can then proceed to split it accordingly and evaluate the overall structure. --Saqib (talk) 19:14, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry it took so long, as I have 270+ articles watching today, not all permanently. Initial controversies and challenges and Legal challenges and conviction in corruption cases is better off merged. And the political career should either include chief ministership for consistency or be split off since it is too heavy. Borgenland (talk) 14:47, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

Terrorists and Militants
Regarding your recent edits on Bohol, I am normally against any form of terrorist tagging for many organizations, but at the same time, I am not comfortable with calling the ASG "militants." My concern is that we may begin creating an atmosphere where the ASG's actions and motivations begin to be associated with OTHER militant groups. In a way, the use of "militant" is sort of POV as well. Is it okay if we just avoid tags altogether in this case? I.e. Aby Sayaff attacks instead of either terrorist or militant attacks, and Abu Sayaff elements rather than Abu sayaff militants or terrorists? Cheers - MistahPeemayer (talk) 02:48, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
- It was my understanding that the word terrorist was to be avoided as much as possible per MOS:TERRORIST and per prior experience in handling other terror-related pages, with my semi-traumatic experience contributing to the Israel-Hamas War as an example. Plus, that section looked as if it was written by the NTF-ELCAC (who else would use the word nefarious in an encyclopedia) Borgenland (talk) 03:54, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Apologies if I've misunderstood, but "tampering" seems a little harsh description for this edit. MIDI (talk) 14:30, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- Apologies I did not mean it was you. Prior to your deletion, another editor had inserted the attribution part that may have contributed to you deleting it, which was the actual tampering I was referring to. Had I known that it would have caused the deletion I would have opposed inserting the attribution on grounds on good faith of the source. Borgenland (talk) 14:33, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
- Fair enough – thanks, and please accept my apologies for jumping to the wrong conclusion. Keep up the good work :) MIDI (talk) 20:02, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
Hello! You are engaging in edit warring. If your edit has been reverted, you are supposed to engage in a discussion on the talk page, not add it back in. Concerning this edit of yours, your edit summary of "improper format" is puzzling. There are no formatting problems present in the relevant text fragment. — UnladenSwallow (talk) 08:27, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- The use of parenthesis in an article is greatly minimized due to its incongruity and clumsiness with the article. At this stage, the best option is to have it in note form or retain its visibility by removing the parenthesis. As far as consensus goes, reliable sources are sticking with the 8 figure, so prominently saying 9 would be undue. Borgenland (talk) 08:30, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- Mind you also that IRNA was also the same source for the death tolls for both 8 and 9, so I would definitely hold off on reffing it directly. Borgenland (talk) 08:32, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- It is certainly frustrating that the IRNA article shows us a photo of Khamenei standing before 8 coffins, while telling us in the text that there were 9 victims. Let's keep it in the note then. — UnladenSwallow (talk) 10:06, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

Hi Borgenland. Thank you for your work on List of members of the Austrian Parliament who died in office. Another editor, Broc, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

- @Broc: Hello! I am a non-Austrian and non-German speaker who happens to be curious about incumbents dying in legislatures. I created this article from available data in the German language Wikipedia with the help of translators. I have noticed that the Austrian Parliament's website is a good starting point but I decided to see first which sources can be found in a regular news site before going to it. As such I will start looking back into the Parliament. Thanks for pointing these issues out. Borgenland (talk) 15:44, 24 May 2024 (UTC)

- Wikipedia editors usually resent Reactions sections for being a dumping ground of all grounds of reactions from everyone. In cases such as these, it is generally accepted practice to include reactions from incumbent authorities, particularly those who have direct jurisdiction over the area and who stand to be directly affected in some sort. Bini (group): Endorsements
Hello, Borgenland. I'm currently expanding the section you recently added to this article. I want to consult you for clarification about the definition of endorsement and its scope here in Wikipedia. Can collaborations and partnerships be considered "endorsements" in the context of Wikipedia? Bini collaborated with Coke Studio Philippines in 2022 and partnered with Kumu in 2021. I was wondering if these could be included. Please let me know what you think about this, thank you. AstrooKai (talk) 09:24, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about that. The ones I cited pertain to brands with dedicated ads, plus I doubt a collab with government agencies could classify as an endorsement given the risks of partisanship. Maybe the guys at Wikipedia:WikiProject Marketing & Advertising could help. Also see templates on similar groups. Borgenland (talk) 09:28, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks for the insights! AstrooKai (talk) 09:36, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi again, I would like to follow up on this. I did some research about the group's event with Coca-Cola, and I found out that they were only collaborations or partnerships.
- I'm a bit confused, as sources states that the group had endorsements with Coca-Cola. But besides these two events, I don't see other articles nor events that mentions the group for endorsement. AstrooKai (talk) 11:44, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think it's necessarily an endorsement. It's more like a musical event with the sponsorship of a major brand or institution. For example, the dreadful fainting incident in Dagupan was a concert co-sponsored by Coke and the LGU for the patronal fiesta, which I included at the bottom of the Concerts list. Borgenland (talk) 11:49, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Not totally confident but in the case of Coke Studio, it would be better placed in History. As for the partnerships, the closest you've got for now is the Kumu webcast. Borgenland (talk) 11:53, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Alright. Then I guess I will exclude Coca-Cola from the endorsements for now until more corroborative information becomes available, thank you again. AstrooKai (talk) 11:56, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Me Da Wikipedian (talk) 14:15, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
