Vandalism

[edit]

Vandalism has a specific definition for Wikipedia WP:VANDALISM. Reverting the edit of a person who deleted an image and added a different image can be for a valid reason, but use a different Edit summary. (I also reverted image replacements done by Mark22888.) Please stop using "Rev vandalism" as an edit summary when what you replaced was not vandalsim, as at Kebab pizza. David notMD (talk) 10:25, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please also stop using "Updated image" when what you did was replaced an image. I restored the Roman Empire image but left in place the Macedonian Empire image. David notMD (talk) 12:21, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits

[edit]

If a reference supports text, you should not change the text and call it "More accurate." For example, "It is influenced by Turkish cuisine" may be true, but the reference supports the version before your change. Changes such as this require new references. removal/addition of images at Salad

[edit]

Hey, Bruce990, I'm not sure what's going on with the series of edits starting with this one? Valereee (talk) 16:18, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I agree that the Etymology section did not need either salad image, but would not have used "rev Vandalism" as an Edit summary. David notMD (talk) 13:32, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but this is an awful image. Drmies (talk) 01:48, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
