A tag has been placed on your user page, User:ByteBridge/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Widr (talk) 05:54, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't receive any compensation. I understand the reason for the block and that I will not repeat the kind of edits for which I was blocked. I will continue to edit the articles on WIKI

Decline reason:

Your choice of new username isn't much better; please review the username policy. I find it difficult to believe you are not compensated in any way by ByteBridge; if you are an employee, you are a paid editor, you do not have to be specifically directed to edit or specifically compensated for your edits. You say you won't repeat the problematic edits but do not say what you will edit about instead; knowing this helps demonstrate your understanding of policies like WP:COI and WP:PAID. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:10, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, thank you for your quick reply. It is the first time I tried to edit wiki online.I learnt the principle and rules several times, I totally understand wiki is not a marketing place, however,I am a bit afraid if the content is still promotional under the rules.Sorry for all the inconvenience.Actually I work for Bytebrige. I intent to edit four parts as belowed: Data labeling for machine learning Data Labeling Market Size Customer Pain Point Several Data Annotation SAAS Introduction Data Annotation Company’s future development I understand the reason for the block and that I will not repeat the kind of edits for which I was blocked. I will continue to edit the articles on WIKI.I would like to know if I could add just one sentence of our product introduction which belongs to this part:Several Data Annotation SAAS Introduction. The sentence is ByteBridge, a data labeling platform with real-time workflow management, providing data training service for machine learning industry, if not, I will remove this sentence.

Decline reason:

Please choose a user name that is not a job function, a product function, or a job role. You should not edit about your company directly. Please read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID --Deepfriedokra (talk) 06:25, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your choice of username isn't an improvement; the name needs to represent you as an individual and can't be a role account. PhilKnight (talk) 08:22, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also, because you have admitted to being an employee of Bytebridge, you are required to make a formal disclosure on your userpage as per Wikipedia's mandatory and non-negotiable policy on paid editing. You would also do well to review the conflict of interest guidelines, since we strongly discourage editors from editing topics where they have a personal or professional connection. It will be very difficult for you to write about your own company from the required neutral point of view. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 22:18, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
