You can't move this page every time without a real reason and source! If you move it back again I will report you! This is vandalism. --Anonymous17 (talk) 08:06, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I saw you did this to other pages, if I see something like this again like in Al-Qamishli where you replaced the Assyrian name with the Aramean without any reason I will also report you immediately.--Anonymous17 (talk) 08:13, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Palmyrene Empire

[edit]

Well, do you have any idea how many people of the Aramean-Assyrian-Syriac-Chaldean controversy people have been blocked ? As for this article which I wrote, Palmyrene is an Aramaic dialect, its pointless to write that both Aramaic and Palmyrene were spoken. they spoke the Palmyrene dialect and that's it. Aramaic is not a different language. As for the population, aside from the fact that this was an Empire that included different ethnicities, the city itself had Arabs constituting half of its population. [Trevor Bryce. Ancient Syria, Oxford university press]. If you reverted then this will be a POV pushing and will be reported.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 13:08, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

My friend, when you write Aramean next to Palmyrene, then you are making them look like two different languages. you either write Aramaic which is a general term that include Syriac, Nabatean....etc or you write the specific term : Palmyrene. as for the state itself, It was not an Aramaic state but an Aramaic speaking state. it was built by all the people who built it. If you wrote Aramean state, someone will come and write : Arab state !! so its better to stay away from those designations. Anyway, the article of Palmyra itself clearly state that this city started as Aramaic and had Aramaic language and culture. Cheers.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 13:26, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary Edits

[edit]

Please refrain from making unnecessary edits, like adding "Arameans" as related people to the Assyrian people page -- the Assyrian people page already includes Arameans: it's written in the first sentence of the page. It is also unnecessary to move the Assyrian singers page to Assyrian/Aramean singers page. Again, it's trite: Aramean is already included in the Assyrian people page. I'm actually a Suryoyo whose family is from Midyat. Anyways, I do not deny an Aramean identity. There is an Assyrian identity, an Aramean identity, and a Chaldean identity. However, all of those differing identities belong to the same ethnic group. I honestly think it's repetitive to include Aramean/Assyrian because if you click Assyrian people the very first sentence makes it obviously clear that "the Assyrian people, also known as Chaldeans, Syriacs, and Arameans.." Therefore, it was redundant Penguins53 (talk) 00:45, 31 May 2015 (UTC)Penguins53[reply]

As another user who reverted your edits on the Ephrem the Syrian page says, "All different names given to Syriac Christians are covered in that article." Penguins53 (talk) 00:51, 31 May 2015 (UTC)Penguins53[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page List of Assyrian musicians has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Shmayo (talk) 11:15, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He moved the page again to "List of Arameans/Assyrians...". Someone should move the page back, he moved the page for the second time without an reason. --Anonymous17 (talk) 11:46, 17 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Syrian people

[edit]

The sentences you removed are explained in the article and referenced. Deleting them is POV. Syrians were arabized and islamised. they were pagans then christians then moslims... it doesnt matter. I hope that you abstain from such edits. As for the people who call themselves Arameans, they are also moslims in Jubb'adin AND Al-Sarkha (Bakhah). Any way, the article is clear and say that syrians are either arabized or just arameans. The article doe not mix them.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 22:05, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Be Careful

[edit]

Be careful with your editing, you may find yourself blocked. Wiki Admin don't take too kindly to the last few edit that Penguin53 has undone.

can you give me some more explanation as to why I'm blocked and why you're only intervenes after 3 weeks and why is penguins53 not blocked? I see a form of racism here, I think it's ridiculous that I'm blocked the only one who must be blocked is you!

Decline reason:

You are blocked because your entire purpose on Wikipedia is to push a specific point of view, at times with outright deceptive edit summaries, for example here, but without any reliable sources backing up your edits. Huon (talk) 11:39, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
