Ross Hendler (born November 19, 1975) is an American Musician, Media Producer, Entrepreneur and Health Advocate. He is best known for launching the first web based reality show [1], along with Aya healthcare in 2005. The show, "13 Weeks", followed the lives of 6 travel nurses in and out of hospital as a way of promoting the industry during a nursing shortage. He is a former student of George Lewis, Bertram Turetzky, Anthony Davis, Chubby Jackson and Nick Didkovsky
Music and Audio
[edit]Ross Hendler is credited as a sound designer on several films and video games including Short Term 12, the Sundance award winning short for 2009 [2]. While in graduate school he explored Auditory illusions by Diana Deutsch and inspired a piece by Nick Didkovsky entitled "Headphone Canon for Ross Hendler" [3]
Health and Wellness
[edit]In 2009 Ross Hendler co founded VimVida, a health and wellness company, with a focus on making tasty and convenient nutrient enriched products. In 2011 he launched the Vitamint product, a vitamin in the form of a mint.
