Regarding this edit -- my edit was reversed with the stated reason that I did not provide a reason for it. I did in fact, and a human editor has already re-deleted the bot's restoration. I provided a clear and explicit reason in the edit summary; I'm not sure how else I'm supposed to have provided a reason.
Like I said, the article was already reverted so it doesn't need any additional attention, but I wonder how many other well-intentioned anonymous edits this thing catches, especially if people aren't in the habit of looking at their messages, since apparently providing a reason does not fall under the category of providing a reason.

CVUA
Hello there! I'm a relatively new WIkipedian who would like training in the Counter-Vandalism unit. If you aren't too busy, could you help me train for this job? Thanks! Gargantuan Brain (talk) 20:45, 17 August 2021 (UTC)
- Gargantuan Brain Good day and thank you for interested in CVUA program. To participate in the program, the editor needs to have at least total edits in the main space. You have only 5 total main space edit at the moment - see here. When you have more than the required edits and you are still interested in joining CVUA, then please pop back here. At the meant time, pls take the shtort WP:TWA program (about 90 mins) to familiar yourself with some of the basic Wikipedia guidelines which would serve you on editing and joining CVUA. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 01:41, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry to bother you, but I have a question about your response. You said I needed a certain number of required edits, however I don't think you have an exact number. If you have time, could you please clarify? I'm about to take the WP:TWA. Gargantuan Brain (talk) 00:48, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Gargantuan Brain The min total main space edit is 200. Cassiopeia talk 02:24, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Alright. Won't be applying for a while then. Thanks! Gargantuan Brain (talk) 11:40, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
UFN 192
Hello Cassiopeia,
UFC has already added the event on their official website and it is already referenced in the Fight card section. The move was justified and meets the criteria for moving the page. Please self revert and restore my edits. Sdpdude9 (talk) 05:28, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Here is the link to the event page.

- Sdpdude9. I see what you saying., but it doesnt show on the event page] thought. I will move it back. Cassiopeia talk 05:53, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- I understand. I think they’re having some glitch issue at the moment as no events are showing up. But the page is there and from the official source. I appreciate it. Sdpdude9 (talk) 06:00, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sdpdude9. I think so. UFC web site has issues at times especially on the ranking page, errors almost every week when they update the rankings of the week. I have moved/updated all the associated pages. Thank you Sdpdude9. Have a great weekend and enjoy the UFN tomorrow. Stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 06:03, 21 August 2021 (UTC)

UFC 242
Hi. One doesn't need a source to know that Poirier headlined UFC 242 . The sources cited in that section are for pay per view numbers. They weren't released for UFC 242 so I'm not making a claim about the numbers that would need a source. If you look at Khabib's Wikipedia page, it has UFC 242 listed in the pay per views that he headlined. It should be the same for Dustin. Johnny Rose 11 (talk) 23:11, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- Johnny Rose 11 Good day and thank you for the message above. I have removed the unsouced info in Nurgamedov' page. the PPV is the Pay-per-view is the viewership/buys, so it does need a number and source to support the info. Also content changed/added should be added by the editor who does the action - pls see WP:PROVEIT / WP:BURDEN. Unsourced content can be removed from the page for verifiability is the core policy of Wikipedia. You are welcome to add the info back when you can find the source and source can be in any languages as long as it is independent and reliable. Have a good weekend and stay safe. Cassiopeia talk 23:22, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- Cassiopeia Are you saying that headlining a pay per view can only be listed if the numbers are released? I can find sources to support that they headlined the event, but there is no source for what the numbers were. Where is this rule coming from? Johnny Rose 11 (talk) 00:36, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- Johnny Rose 11 The whole point of of viewership table is to record the viewership (PPV / pay per view) number, as all the UFC numbering events / flagship events (eg UFC 100, UFC 165, UFC 269 and etc.) are all PPV events. We dont record everything in a page such as we dont place Fight Night table/ UFC on Fox /UFC on ESPN+, UFC on ESPN and etc in the fighter page. Cassiopeia talk 00:49, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- Cassiopeia Alright, thanks for answering. Fair enough. Johnny Rose 11 (talk) 01:01, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

Requesting your assistance in reviewing an article
Hello Cassiopeia hope you have been doing well I made the page for adrenaline not too long ago however someone who is an editor has moved it to the draft space saying that I do not have legitimate sources all of my sources are legitimate and are references to the information stated before the reference point. This person has a talk page filled with many complaints so I don't know if I am being messed with by someone who just enjoys doing this stuff so I am seeing if I can get a third opinion I could tag you in the discussion on my page when I tried to inquire about it he didn't seem to have much recollection that he had moved my page. Either way everything I referenced was directly out of a legitimate source and I have already made changes to the article as requested by other editors. Tsims23 (talk) 04:06, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
- Tsims23 Would you mind to give me the article name please? Cassiopeia talk 04:10, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello sorry about that yes the article is https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Adrenaline_MMA_Training_%26_Fitness I keep tagging ppl on my talk page and on there but they haven't answered but they seen itTsims23 (talk) 03:57, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Tsims23 Ok, I will have a look at it. Thank you. Cassiopeia talk 04:06, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you let me know what you think I have added extra references that I mentioned in my reply to them Tsims23 (talk) 06:33, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Cassiopeia hope you have been doing well is it normal for editors to not reply after seeing something cuz one of those guys edited one of my errors but did not reply.. seems a bit weird Tsims23 (talk) 04:35, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- Tsims23 Good day. I have a look at the draft page above. The existing refs and the additional refs which you have indicated you will add them in do not have the requirements need to make the page notable due to the fact that the are either not reliable or independent. Pls remove all social media sites as they are not reliable and any sources that is relate/affiliated/connected to the subject is considered not independent (including interview article from any sources) for the info of the source article is derived from the subject. You need to find at least few more independent, reliable sources in any languagues to make the article truly notable.
- As for your second question , "is it normal for editors to not reply after seeing something cuz one of those guys edited one of my errors but did not reply.. seems a bit weird " - you need to provide me hist diff (always provide hist diff and article name), so I may help. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 03:45, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

- I read over some stuff that led me to believe that official links were allowed I will reference them here it is also because one of them contains a video of him teaching for the Brazilian jiu jitsu teacher however the article does have many independent sources from newspapers and MMA websites this was previously talked about with a reputable editor on the site Cassiopeia please see conversion (New article I'm making) for discussion
- Common issues: Wikipedia is not a directory of any subject's complete web presence, and links to social networking sites (other than official links) are discouraged (ELNO#10). It is an official link both their official page and Facebook page.
- As an external link: ☒ Generally. Regular websites are strongly preferred, but exceptions are made for official links(that is the official Facebook page) when the subject of the article has no other Web presence. All materials cited above can be found in said article please see social networking https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links/Perennial_websites section I do apologize if I wasn't supposed to use those but it did say "other than official links" I could probably try to find another reference for the BJJ trainer but I thought it would be much easier to just show a video that they upload on their official website as a reference to him being the BJJ trainer otherwise as I said all other sources are of a reliable source and are references to the material stated before the reference point. I could definitely find a different reference for BJJ coach probably but as for core references the guy cool saying I need at least three 3 I have provided 6 I believe where is is a solid ref not just a passing mention. That should more than enough qualify me I will tag the rule he posted just let me know what you think after you read the stuff about using external links that are social media but official. Thank you again for the help :)Tsims23 (talk) 17:25, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- WP:THREE this is what was listed and I have like six core references Tsims23 (talk) 17:27, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- Tsims23 In Wikipedia, notability means "worthy to be noted" - it is defined as a topic is "presumably" notable for stand-alone article or list if (1) it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject where by the sources talk "directly" about the subject in depth and in length and not only passing mentioned and (2) it is not excluded under the What Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. Certain info can be added from subject official site into the article (sparingly) but the info does NOT contribute to the needed notability requirements for the info is NOT independent from the subject - in short the subject is not notable. Stay safe Tsims23 and best. Cassiopeia talk 05:29, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
So what you're saying is I need to remove the Facebook reference? All those other refs are definitely legitimate Tsims23 (talk) 19:37, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- Tsims23 All the info that supported by social media should be removed. However, even doing so, you still need to have a few more independent, reliable (not interview articles( sources that talk about the subject directly in length and in depth to contribute(meet the requirements) the notability of this article. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 20:14, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

- All the best and sending the best wishes. In regards to the list of current Bellator fighters, a lot of the prelim fighters on Bellator cards are on long term contracts and just one offs to see if they are worthy off being kept, so I would always just list fighters on there once they have two straight fights under Bellator or a press release is released about a signing. HeinzMaster (talk) 15:00, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- HeinzMaster OK, pls remove those that is one off contract. Once I have updated all the DoB, Ht and calculations, I will move those fighters who have 0 Bellator fights to "Recent signing" section. I understand Bellator fighters are allowed to fight outside Bellator promotion. In your opinion would 2 years is the good indication of time to remove a fighter if they have not fought in Bellator since their last fight? Cassiopeia talk 02:09, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

CVU Academy - RFZYNSPY
Hello! I posted to your talk page in July regarding the possibility of you mentoring my through the CVU Academy. You mentioned I did not have the requirement of 200 mainspace edits. Since then, I've put my nose to the grindstone to gain more (albeit mostly semi-automatic) editing experience. If you're still interested in taking on new mentees, I'd love to learn more from you about keeping Wikipedia clean from vandalism. RFZYNSPY talk 00:43, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

Recent changes
- Some musical score syntax no longer works and may needed to be updated, you can check Category:Pages with score rendering errors on your wiki for a list of pages with errors.
Problems
- Musical scores were unable to render lyrics in some languages because of missing fonts. This has been fixed now. If your language would prefer a different font, please file a request in Phabricator. [1]
Changes later this week
- The parameters for how you obtain tokens in the MediaWiki API were changed in 2014. The old way will no longer work from 1 September. Scripts, bots and tools that use the parameters from before the 2014 change need to be updated. You can read more about this.
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 31 August. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 1 September. It will be on all wikis from 2 September (calendar).
Future changes
- You will be able to read but not edit Commons for a few minutes on 6 September. This will happen around 05:00 UTC. This is for database maintenance.
- All wikis will be read-only for a few minutes in the week of 13 September. More information will be published in Tech News later. It will also be posted on individual wikis in the coming weeks. [2]

Leylah Hernandez
The date I changed on her win over Naomi Osaka just occured today(less than 30 minutes ago). My source was ESPN2 but you can also see the results on the US Open's website.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:f91:5c00:60a9:d68b:99e5:bccd (talk) 12:26, September 4, 2021 (UTC)
- 2021 2600:1700:f91:5c00:60a9:d68b:99e5:bccd Good day and thank you for the message above. This is your edit. You can add back the info but you need to provide an independent, reliable sources such as from the newspaper to support your claim as the editor who change or add content to the page bear the burden to provide the source - see WP:PROVEIT. You can use horizontal format of Template:Cite web if it is a web source. Cassiopeia talk 02:38, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
Bennifer
Hello, I'm requesting to get access to my deleted Wikipedia page because I would like to add citations on 'Bennifer'.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ellotay (talk • contribs) 00:50, September 5, 2021 (UTC)
- Ellotay Good day. I believe you have already found the way how to get access and provided the sources (citation). Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 21:01, 4 September 2021 (UTC)
Retr0r0cket Fox Factory
Hi Cassiopeia. In regards to the Fox Factory update I made earlier today I cited this link as source 10 and maybe I didn't cite it correctly (I'm not exactly a wikipedia whiz), I did list it and it's a link to the product page with all of Fox's MTB forks and shocks and clicking on any one of those components would show that the specs I listed were correct. Just hoping that clears up everything. TheRealRetr0r0cket (talk) 21:32, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- TheRealRetr0r0cket Good day and thank you for the message above. You can use the horizonal format of Template:Cite Web if the is a web source. Source usually place at the end of the sentence(s) where the contain based on. If for the content is in a table then the source can be place in one of the column/row parameter or place it at the bottom of the table. If the content is a bullet points format (such as Fox Factory) then you can either place the source at the begining of the section of end of the section, unless those info on section is taken from different sources then the sources would be place at the end of the sentence/line.
- You can also use Wikipedia:VisualEditor (VE) to cite sources of any kind (you have to act enable Visual Editor first - follow the links and instructions for enabling). With VE, click "Cite" on the top of the menu of the page, then paste the URL (that particular web page) in to the field and VE will fill all the necessary info for you (sometime you have fill the "author" of the source as VE could not able to grab the info). You also can cite book, journal and etc with VE. Lastly you can fill the info manually if needed (such as source is taken from a PDF). Hope this help. Stay safe and best. - We started work on some behind-the-scenes improvements to the way Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects are notified about a change that affects their articles. (They need this notification so the article can be purged and show the latest data from Wikidata again. It is also required for showing the edit in the watchlist and recent changes on those wikis. This should have no visible impact for editors but is needed maintenance work.
