Coachella page
[edit]I undid your edit. The dates that I posted are accurate according to The Desert Sun's (local Indio paper) web page. While the bands may not be known yet it still allows people to know what dates Coachella will be next year. I know of several people who have already made their hotel reservations because they were able to find this information.
Edit: I thought better of it. I removed the "2008 performers" section and just replaced it with a "Dates for Coachella 2008" section.
Crazy article
[edit]Hello! I've noticed you removed the songs "Crazy You" and "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince; still you left "(You drive me) Crazy" by Britney Spears. In my opinion both of Prince's song belong here. In your commentary you wrote "Deleted links to unambiguously named songs, bands, etc.)"; could you be more specific about this issue regarding Prince's songs since I don't agree with your point of view. Thank you. JediCarlos 18:48, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:Belle_&_Sebastian_-_Casaco_Marron.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Belle_&_Sebastian_-_Casaco_Marron.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:10, 15 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NMajdan•talk 21:10, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
I see that you put together quite an athlete template for WP:SKI. If you're up to the task, would you mind very much creating a [much more basic] template for trail difficulty statistics, as I have begun to outline at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Ski#Template_for_Trails? I'd really appreciate if you could get back to me by posting on my User talk:RideABicycle page, and that you can do this for a great WikiProject. User:RideABicycle/Signature 00:58, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Saubert
[edit]Heh, I hate when that happens.
Her death was front-page news here in Oregon, and since I have been focusing on adding and expanding articles about Oregon athletes, I had to get the article going. It sounds like you have way more skiing expertise than I do, so I'm sure you'll have some good additions.
Thanks! --Sprkee 22:49, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The MySpace Transmissions (City and Colour), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: The MySpace Transmissions (EP). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:14, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Bend Elks
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Bend Elks, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Local junior-league team not meeting guidelines for notability of organizations. Best claim to fame appears to be a player went on to become notable, which does not confer notability.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. tedder (talk) 06:22, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Bend Elks
[edit]I have nominated Bend Elks, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bend Elks. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. tedder (talk) 23:18, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
The article Dirty Water Club has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Defunct night club, or club night, or something (unclear exactly what or where this was), with no secondary sources provided and no indication of notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --MelanieN (talk) 23:32, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
The article BendBroadband has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No reliable sources given or found to establish encyclopedic notability of a company. There are certainly articles mentioning the company, but they lack the depth of coverage necessary.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. tedder (talk) 20:21, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Carl, glad to see you have started this article. Wendy was my great Aunt. The story about the Maasai tribesman is the correct version. My uncle still has the note, written in lipstick on either part of her silk flying scarf or a frayed silk handkerchief, it is framed in his dining room. Brendandh (talk) 11:32, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Armed & Ready, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cliff diving (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Speedy deletion nomination of Seekonk (band)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Seekonk (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Hoponpop69 (talk) 14:04, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

The article Armed & Ready has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non notable show that clearly fails WP:GNG for lack of significant coverage from reliable secondary sources. Listing on Futon Critic is not a secondary source, and one source only does not make it pass the general guidelines of notability, as I was unable to find more than that one.
