Removeing my commments?
Hi just wanted to check up on your edit of my contributions, what is the purpose of this. I added a perfectly sane comment on What Would Jeus Do - pointing the the dialectic What Did Jesus Do... both as a debate and as a, think, valid alternative to to WWJD??

- This is the edit that the bot undid. It is adding commentary to an article and that's not allowed--5 albert square (talk) 22:42, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Moved to bottom of page, please put new sections at the bottom of talk pages, not the top. Thanks! Dynamic|cimanyD (contact me ⁞ my edits) 00:17, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Well this is not a comment but rather - i think - an alternative interpetation of what WWJD is about? As such it is both a comment and a critical view, so I can add this under a headline called "critical thinkning", would that be alloved? Hello there!
How about this One? 100% false! Sean (Hit) 20:07, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
- Wow! I know false positives don't go here, but seriously, why did ClueBot NG revert that? →Dynamic|cimanyD← (contact me) 21:31, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
HELP!
Cluebot! Miszabot wont archive my talk page even though I put the correct template on there! Help! Please! Shakinglord:Kudos, Mailbox, ??? 18:50, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
- First of all, you're on the wrong talk page. This is the talk page for the ClueBots, not MiszaBot. Second, your archiving problem is very simple: you didn't change "Example" to your own username ("Shakinglord"), but you copied the template straight from user:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo#Example 2 - incremental archives. Third, consider whether you really want the example options. You can change the
algo
parameter to a different number to vary how many days you want things to stay on your talk page, for examplealgo = old(14d)
will let sections remain for 2 weeks (14 days), where asalgo = old(48h)
oralgo = old(2d)
will let them remain for only 2 days (48 hours). I know it's complicated, but you really should read all of user:MiszaBot/Archive HowTo to learn about all the different options. →Dynamic|cimanyD← (contact me) 00:45, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

Submitting a false pos report.
Hi, I submitted a false positive, it then asked me for a captcha, so I entered it and clicked the only available button ("Post Comment" - it then asked for another captcha - how do I (a) get out of it and (b) ensure my report has been logged? --Redrose64 (talk) 19:31, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
- The initial reporting doesn't require a captcha - only adding comments to the report afterwards does (which is optional). I'll try and get some time later to tweak the source so that it is more obvious when an edit has been marked as reported. - Damian Zaremba (talk • contribs) 03:34, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
- I've updated the code to make it obvious when reports have been created and that comments are optional. Upon creation the page will look like this which will hopefully save any confusion. - Damian Zaremba (talk • contribs) 04:27, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Seems to have missed my previous warning from this month
Hi, if you look at this diff, you'll see that ClueBot failed to spot the previous warning I gave to the vandalism-only account 74.92.56.157 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), and created another heading for this month followed by a level 1 warning. I'm sure you will agree that it is counter-productive for me to issue a level-3 warning, based on the previous behaviour of the IP, only for your bot to go back to a "did not appear to be constructive" warning. Is a uw-v1 really appropriate for this edit where the vandal replaces the entire biography section with "big stoner with the life of a pirate", considering their previous contributions? --RexxS (talk) 22:56, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) See User talk:ClueBot Commons/Archives/2011/September#"Recent history" cutoff for warning escalation for a similar subject. That never got answered, so I'm glad this is being mentioned again. →Dynamic|cimanyD← (contact me) 23:15, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- User talk:ClueBot Commons/Archives/2008/January#Bot erroneously resets warning level -- Cobi(t|c|b) 06:14, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- So an IP vandal can simply wait a couple of days after a high-level warning and then resume vandalism ad infinitum. This appears to be one of those cases where human judgement is going to be far superior to the bot - I mean a human can see from a contribution pattern that it's the same vandal. Fair enough, I'll deal with it myself and I know what to do in future. --RexxS (talk) 13:04, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- Could the bot at least not start a new heading if one already exists for the month? →Dynamic|cimanyD← (contact me) 13:22, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- User talk:ClueBot Commons/Archives/2007/October#Redundant heading and User:ClueBot NG/Warnings/Vandal1 is the template it subst's. -- Cobi(t|c|b) 18:05, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
- How does the bot actually do the message? Does it "edit" the whole page, or just the last section of it, or does it "create new section" (which then only actually creates the section-header if the template has it)? DMacks (talk) 18:19, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

- Fortunately, that is not set in stone. Where is the appropriate place (bot discussion page, WP admin page, etc.) to raise the issue for review and possible modification of this current cutoff? DMacks (talk) 18:15, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Frequent dab page false positives
Seems to me that a false positive occurs whenever an IP editor updates {{disambig}} to {{Disambiguation}} (the template was moved on 27 April 2011). Am I right? And if so, can that problem be fixed? Thanks. 2.26.132.56 (talk) 19:05, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
ClueBot NG integration with huggle
I posted a proposal at Huggle that would obviously require the input of the ClueBot developers, so comments are appreciated. Crazynas t 01:47, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
A newbie's question about vandalism database of ClueBot and blocking an IP with vandalism history
As I look at the old revision of the article Lolong last 00:05, 4 October 2011, it was done automatically by ClueBot because of vandalism. But after a while, there is again another vandalism done by 112.198.78.82 so I reverted it to the revision done by Kokopinos. Seeing this, I wanted to contribute to the vandalism database, if there is.
Also, as I look at the talk page of 112.198.78.82, I can see that it has a history of vandalism since July 2010. I'm just hoping that the vandalism activity done by that IP can be stopped.
Thanks! --Allenjambalaya(talk • contribs) 01:55, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there Allenjambalaya, thanks for your interest in ClueBot. Although there is not a "vandalism database" that you can just add stuff too, you could help by joining our review interface with allows human editors to check over ClueBot's edits and allows ClueBot to learn weather what it's doing is right or wrong :) Why not check out the interface and join in, you will have to request access which I will give you if I see your name crop up.
- As for your other issue, this is not the place to discussing blocking of IPs... sorry - Rich(MTCD)T|C|E-Mail 18:21, 16 October 2011 (UTC)
- I clicked the interface link and I'm getting a message saying that there is an App Engine Error: "503 Over Quota: This Google App Engine application is temporarily over its serving quota. Please try again later. " I'll check it out some other time. About my query about IP blocking, that's fine. Thanks for the reply! - Allenjambalaya (talk) 04:59, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I appreciate the hard work that the programmers put in. I know that catching all vandalism is impossible but perhaps this should have been caught? TerriersFan (talk) 03:09, 24 October 2011 (UTC)

I do not agree with your recent [edit] to Bruce Almighty. What 24.62.184.126 was definitly not vandalism and, while I disagree with his rude response to your change, I support his edit. Bruce Almighty revolves a lot around god and religion, and if Evan Almighty is a religious comedy, then so is Bruce Almighty. False positive
I tried to edit a discription of a kung fu weapon called a tonfa. The edit I tried to make was an addition to the description to make it easier for your average viewer to understand. I tried to add that the tonfa is comonly calles a night stick. This was instantly removed. I feel that it would be helpful for most people that look at the page. Please fix this. ClueBot Image
Hello,
I noticed that the ClueBot image was of a stealth figter, possibly of a bomber. A fighter with a human pilot, not an *unmanned* vehicle.
My suggestion therefor is to change this image to an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, as surely, a bot operates mostly unmanned. Mostly. Like, 100% of the time.
That is all. Thank you. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.112.87.145 (talk) 01:05, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
