Religion categories

I've removed Category:Ghanaian Muslims from a bunch of articles about living people, mostly footballers, that you added. (At least I think most were added by you. You added one, and an anonymous IP address added the others—I'm assuming that was you prior to your signing in.) Please note the following excerpt from WP's policy on biographies of living persons:

"Category tags regarding religious beliefs and sexual orientation should not be used unless two criteria are met:

"The subject publicly self-identifies with the belief or orientation in question;

"The subject's beliefs or sexual orientation are relevant to the subject's notable activities or public life, according to reliable published sources."

The fact that these people are Muslim was not even mentioned in the articles in question, much less proven to be a matter of self-identification or relevant to their notable activities. Thanks. Good Ol’factory ^(talk) 22:55, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced controversial biographical content to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Stephen Appiah. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Speedy deletion of Fictional Muslims

A tag has been placed on Fictional Muslims requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
