Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Wuhwuzdat (talk) 04:03, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I did accidentally delete the speedy tag, but I am new and am really confused, I really want this page to stay. I would put the tag back but I forgot how the tag was written.--Cubs197 (talk) 04:18, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Ok, now what
I got the tag back, now what, do I just sit here and hope you don't delete my page?--Cubs197 (talk) 04:22, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
How do pictures work?
{{helpme}}
How do I insert a picture that I took with a camera and put it on my computer; in other words, it's mine. So how would I upload it to my page?--Cubs197 (talk) 04:26, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
- WP:UPLOAD to upload it to Wikipedia or commons:Upload to upload it to Commons. You'd click the first link on the Wikipedia page ("Entirely my own work - I created it, own all the rights to it, and have not used anyone else's work in making it") or the first link on the Commons page ("It is entirely my own work"). You'd then complete the licensing and stuff, and add [[File:<file name here>]] to your userpage. Killiondude (talk) 04:31, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thank you Killiondude for the help. Unfortunately, I can't upload images yet because my account needs to be at least 4 days old, but hopefully, when I have had my account for four day this will work.--Cubs197 (talk) 05:13, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ryan Higa has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \byoutube\.com (links: http://www.youtube.com/nigahiga, http://www.youtube.com/nigahiga (redirect from http://www.youtube.com/nigahiga)). If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file. Video links are also strongly deprecated by our guidelines for external links, partly because they're useless to people with slow internet connections.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 22:53, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Your request
Hello! I recall the article. Unfortunately, middle schools don't meet the general notability requirements and the way it was written, I'm sorry to say, didn't help. If you'd like, I can post the text here on this page and you can print it out for your principal. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:11, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
What exactly are the general notability requirements?--Cubs197 (talk) 22:13, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Good question. You can find them here. You may also wish to review this to get a better idea of the style and references required for inclusion. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:17, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
By the way, here's your article. :) --PMDrive1061 (talk) 22:22, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Ok, well thanks. Are you an admin?
Yup. :) That's why I was aboe to delete it and retrieve it. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:02, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
That's what I thought. Can someone like me become an Admin? Or do you have to go the the place and work there like any other job? Also what should I have done to my page to make it so it won't be deleted?--Cubs197 (talk) 23:36, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Will you let me recreate this page if in include more resources? That is what you deleted it for right: Lack of resources? And what if my resources are from like an interview? What do I do then?--Cubs197 (talk) 22:31, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Per IRC chat.
I have now moved your article into a user subpage, User:Cubs197/school. You can edit the article there, and improve it, etc. Please do not make it into a live article again before you've asked someone to check it. COI, CSD & notability
Hiya Cubs197. Good to chat with you on WP:IRC last night. Your enthusiasm to learn Wikipedia concepts & help other users is refreshing.
We mentioned a few things last night - WP:COI, WP:CSD and WP:notability amongst them. Just thought you might like the links together in a handy place. Cheers, Trafford09 (talk) 11:28, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Use of auto scripts
FYI, you might wish to take it slow with the scripts while you get used to Wikipedia. So far, you've tagged a policy for speedy and you've reverted a welcome note (mine) as "vandalism". Again, please feel free to ask if you have questions about any of this. Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 21:09, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

Rollback
I have 1 granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton | Talk 03:32, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Hey Cubs, thanks for welcoming a new user, see User talk:188.132.8.151--unfortunately that IP's dropping by was a hit-and-run visit, meant only to insert a bunch of spamlinks at Humayun Ahmed (just look at the article history). Thanks, Drmies (talk) 04:36, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

I saw that you just added (and removed) tags to chzz (talk · contribs)'s talk page. In the future, please realize it isn't the norm to add tags to others' pages in their userspace. Archiving
Hello there, are you online now? Come to IRC. You archiving has been altered. The automatic numbering isn't working, so I have changed to manual numbering. So all your messages will be archived to User talk:Cubs197/Archive 1. If you think that the page has been filled up a lot, then you can change the archiving page to User:Cubs197/Archive 2. All you have to do it:
Present code in your page:
{{User:ClueBot III/ArchiveThis |archiveprefix=User talk:Cubs197/ |format=Archive 1 |age=60 |index=no }}
Change format=Archive 1
to format=Archive 2
. Suppose you need to change it to Archive 3 then change format=Archive 1
to format=Archive 3
. Usually allow hundred conversations to be archived to a page. If you have any more doubts, seeya on IRC. And I see that your talk page has been archived. --Srinivas 15:13, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

re Uzair
Hi Cubs197 - I just wanted to let you know that I have removed the author requests deletion template which you added to Uzair as the editor who blanked the page was not the page creator, and the article has had a number of contributors over the past couple of years. I think what might have happened is that the editor is trying to create an article on a different subject with the same name, and isn't sure how to do it, so I will drop them a note to hopefully point them in the right direction! Wow, it's prob the second time I used this template on my talk. Anyways, hi chzz, PeterSymonds, Dratini, Killiondude, and anyone else. This is the only way I am able to talk to you guys quickly. I don't know how, but I got banned from the freenode network. I was very steamed, but I just really want to first: at least connect to you guys some how, second: get unbanned/blocked. I have given both chzz and stwalkster a message about my problem. When mIRC gave me the banned message it all looked like this:
* Connecting to chat.freenode.net (7000)
-chat.freenode.net- *** Looking up your hostname...
-chat.freenode.net- *** Checking ident
-chat.freenode.net- *** Found your hostname

Closing Link: 127.0.0.1 (Banned)
* Disconnected etc.
Also, if you go to that link, you'll see a link on that site, I don't know what to do for that one. Thanks--Cubs197 (talk) 17:02, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Power cycle your internet equipment. Your modem / router / etc. to try and get a new IP. You just happen to have an IP that is listed as a "bad" one. I think that will fix things. I'm going to leave the helpme template up for now, to see if someone else will chime in. Killiondude (talk) 17:06, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you Killiondude, I'll try that now. Should I do the entire computer or what? Thanks again, Cubs197 (talk) 17:17, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

Tagging glosh for speedy deletion was absolutely correct. Why on earth did you remove the tag? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:45, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Please explain why my edit of Aztec (disambiguation) is reverted as unconstructive! I have supplied a comment with the edit and you still mark it as vandalism?

Welcome
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Articles for creation! We are a group of editors who work together on the Articles for creation and Images for upload pages.
A few tips that you might find helpful:
- Please take time to fully read the reviewers' instructions before reviewing submissions.
- The project's discussion board is the best place to ask for help or advice. You might like to watchlist this page, and you are encouraged to take part in any discussion that comes up.
- Article submissions that need reviewing can be found in Category:Pending AfC submissions and there is also a useful list which is maintained by a bot.
- You might wish to add {{AFC status}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
- Several of our members monitor an IRC channel, #wikipedia-en-afc connect, and you are most welcome to join in.
Once again, welcome to the project. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:03, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

ok...that was out of frustration coz there are four refs. provided just for that sake n still people alter that with their own ideas n estimates....anyways that wont be repeated....but I have been through such admins who use more derogatory language than this...by the way it was u who was editing that page without loging in???...Idk but I think ur a girl coz I havent seen such way of takin here in wiki...am I right?...anyways,thanks-- Last Emperor (talk) 05:19, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
- Again, no. I only edited the page while I was logged on, and don't insult me. You have been warned once, now this is your second warning. Do not continue to attack other editors.--Cubs197 18:10, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
Oh my God!!
when did I insulted you ?
I think u again took it wrong way....asking someone if he is a boy or she is a girl is not insulting....nither I intended to...I just asked because u used "(s)he might have been confused because (s)he's new here" in ur reply while most users dont use "(S)he", they directly use "He"...anyways I nither have any gains in insulting u nor I did n will never do...
I think more I reply more u will take it in wrong way and then warn me...so this is my last reply to u !!,thanks-- Last Emperor (talk) 18:35, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
