NY 112 and NY 347

NY 112 goes by three names and as Route 112. They are mentioned in the route description, but it is not relevant to the lead unless it holds the name the entire length of the roadway. Where does it stop? If the route has 40 different names in 100 miles, should all 40 be mentioned in the lead? I've stopped swiping from NYCRoads. I keep questioning more and more what is sourcing what. Expect that the histories and leads of 112 and 347 will be renovated. The intent is that all the stuff on the Neconset Greenway and such will be reduced to a six-line paragraph. I'm closer to rewriting 112 than I am 347. Negative. That doesn't come close to meeting early Erie architecture, which was mainly in wood. It wasn't till later in the 19th century that more complex station designs came through. Mitch32^{(It is very likely this guy doesn't have a girlfriend.)} 21:45, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Orange Belt Railway

Thanks for adding the pic and for correcting some of my mistakes. I believe the Dunedin Station (now a museum) and the one in San Antonio still exist. There is a museum of some kind I think with some rail content in downtown Tarpon if I'm not mistaken, but as it's not on the trail I don't think it's the station itself... Take care. Westchester NRHP list split proposal

About three and a half years ago (I know; feels like just last week ) after you aplit off the Peekskill and New Rochelle NRHP lists from the main Westchester list, I suggested it would be better to do it strictly north/south (the latter excluding Yonkers, of course).

At the time I had a bunch of Westchester photos I was waiting to upload and expand the relevant articles with. I decided to wait until I was done with them to bring the subject up again, as the main Westchester list would be fuller by then and we could have a better idea of what kind of split would be desirable.

TemplateData is here

Hey DanTD

I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).

So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.

What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.

The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.
