Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Demolition squibs.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:43, 14 September 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 02:43, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

War Crimes in Iraq

[edit]

Please stop vandalizing the 2003 Invasion of Iraq page. The changes made were discussed in the talk page for several weeks before being made. Thanks. WDW Megaraptor (talk) 19:39, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2003 invasion of Iraq

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Tom Harrison Talk 00:44, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Wordpress edits

[edit]

Please, be so kind and stop posting the same text based on outdated and general claims without hard proofs. If you love Drupal so much, start improving Drupal article. If you don't like WordPress, support your criticism with sources more than just general and full of weak statements.

  • Wordpress is not great for creating an online business, a full featured website or multiple blogs with multiple authors.
WordPress is used by business quite often, you may read more about it at WordPress Showcase. It seems that all those people don't care about POV. There are thousands of full featured websites too with multiple authors and all this stuff is based on WordPress. It means that this statement is just untrue.
  • You could easily outgrow it if your needs grow beyond what WordPress can do.
This statement is so general, it can be used virtually for any type of software, including WordPress, Drupal, TextPattern, MovableType, Mambo, Joomla and anything you like.
  • Extendable, but there are limitations.
Anything more? Proofs? Details? As far as we can see WordPress is easy to modify and extend. Look again of WordPress forums and WordPress showcase to see what talented people can do with WordPress.
  • Blogging is not the answer to everything for everyone.
And? Put anything in place of blogging and you'll get universal statement for any article here.
  • There are many advantages to making your entire website a blog, but there are some downsides to it, too.
Another general statement once again, but no details or proofs to put it into Criticism section. Without proofs it's just your POV, nothing more.
  • Creating an online business, a full featured website or multiple blogs with multiple authors using Wordpress can be quite challenging but if you are building a straight on single person or group blog, Wordpress is the way to go.
Building any sophisticated website can be quite challenging. This is true but also this is universal and general so once again it can be used for any web software.
