OK... so Columbia's a B-class article looking at FA nomination. Let's see if we can push it through FAN! (And good luck to anyone who speaks Thai and can translate the Thai version of Chulalongkorn University article into English) See you all 5 days before tax day (for those of us who are US taxpayers)! - Jameson L. Leslie
I was thinking of putting Leslie and Kyle into the TOS minor recurring characters, I'd say they deserve a mention. I'm trying to tidy up a few redirects I made, so if I don't get around to it soon please feel free to create their entries Alastairward (talk) 17:24, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Actually scrub that, I see you were kind enough to leave an edit history of the old Leslie article in my talk page, so I took the material over to the recurring characters' article Alastairward (talk) 17:50, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
You kindly put a link on my talk page for the edit history of Leslie (Star Trek). I was wondering where you got this from? I used it to take the information from the article before it was redirected. I'd like to do the same with Mr Kyle, how can I find this out? Alastairward (talk) 22:14, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Well, I knew that Leslie (Star Trek) was the original location of that article, so I went to the redirect and looked at its page history to before it was changed from a page to a redirect. Where was the article for Mr Kyle located? —Disavian (talk/contribs) 22:39, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi, Disavian. I saw that you undid my edit of Georgia Tech Alumni. Let's talk about it on the talk page for the article, OK? --Zippy (talk) 19:35, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Image:SWARM GT vs Clemson 2006.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:SWARM GT vs Clemson 2006.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Userscript
Thanks for your feedback! Some things had changed in the html of the blocks log in this Wikipedia. Now should work [1]. (Except for German wikipedia with firefox 3 (with ff2 works), but unless somebody complaints about it, I think I am too lazy to fix it :P). Please, tell me if it does not work.Chabacano (talk) 00:49, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lib Sh, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

If you are going to revert people's edits, it would be nice to provide some type of rationale, or at least an edit summary. --Eustress (talk) 04:10, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Was using the autogenerated popups summary, sorry. You were performing a copy-and-paste move, which doesn't preserve the page history. If you want to move a page to somewhere else (and, say, a redirect already exists there) then you need to request that move at WP:RM. However, your move here wouldn't be uncontroversial, so you'd need to have some discussion before it could be moved. Personally, I'm fairly certain that all of the history/university articles (regardless of the school's official inclusion of 'The') use the lowercase variant. Why I care about that so much, I have no idea :p Hope that was helpful. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 16:41, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes, it's that time! A new article has been chosen our COTM next month.
Here's something I want to try, start treating it as a peer review. Start by skimming through the article, making sure the article fits our article guidelines. Then review for content: any copyvio, notability issues, reference listings, following the Manual of Style. Again, let's make sure we stick to the objectives listed on WP:UNI/COTM. Feel free to use the talk page of the article or COTM page to reflect or express opinions on how to make this program even better. Feel free to utilize #wikipedia-en-roboticsconnect if you wish, that channel doesn't get used enough and I'm usually there if I'm near a computer.
And here's something even more radical. See if you can attract authors currently maintaining the different COTM articles to join our WikiProject and better yet, our COTM project. I found when I started this program, jumping ships and editing other universities' articles was a big leap, but it's been very fun so far. I'd like to see more people actively participating.

Because the Signpost hasn't been sent in a while, to save space, I've condensed all seven issues that were not sent into this archive. Only the three issues from November are below.
Hi there, I see that you are a primary contributor to the article Calvin Johnson (American football). This article has come under review for Good article reassessment as part of GA Sweeps and a number of problems have been identified which are listed on the talk page. Please begin to address these points in the next seven days or the article will be delisted from GA and will have to go through the WP:GAN process all over again to regain its status once improvements have been made. If you have any questions, please drop me a line.--Jackyd101 (talk) 18:12, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Journalism disambiguation pages, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
