Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as at Talk:Cabell County, West Virginia, (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

I had to dig way down into the history to figure out who put the “cleanup on asile 3” statement and when. I understand that you’re an experienced editor, so I’m going to AGF (unlike what I said in the edit summary) and assume that you were probably new back in ‘05 when that statement was put on there. But that is a major reason why it’s good to sign your posts. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page! 20:16, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

I was in college and just starting all this; I remembered removing something that was irrelevant on an article, but wasn't sure what exactly. I was very confused when I got this message. I thought my account got hacked to be honest. But It's been nearly twenty years. I think I do sign everything now. DodgerOfZion (talk) DodgerOfZion (talk) 02:59, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
