your comment to Hayford Peirce makes no sense at all
You left a comment on my page about providing outside sources for "characters". I don't see any sense in this. The only recent article I've written about "characters" is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonel_Charles_Michael_Russell. If you bothered to look at the article, you would see that I have referenced about a DOZEN books and pages, AND listed three outside books. I have also written a number of articles about various characters from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Gilbert novels and short stories over the years. Do they too need "outside sources"? No one else seems to think so.Hayford Peirce (talk) 23:01, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
Deletion of Project Arrhythmia article
Hi, may I ask why you deleted the article Project Arrhythmia? I did not notice this at all because usually when a page is going to be deleted I will be notified on my talk page or via watchlist. Anyhow, I needed something from that page that I wrote, so if possible could you move the deleted page to the draftspace or my sandbox please? Thank you. Why was email disabled? Was this a known LTA? Just curious.

The article Guy Lux has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not notable, been tagged for notability since 2010, and no evidence of passing WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:32, 23 November 2020 (UTC)
ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
Re: Thank you
No problem, the article seemed a bit fishy to me and it didn't take long to find out. Are you sure you got the right editor though? Did Coxal Xhamichi create it? Can't check it now because the history is gone, but I seem to remember a different username, and Coxal Xhamichi's edits seem OK at first glance. GregorB (talk) 20:22, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oh, I see, more accounts were apparently involved? I'll definitely take a look at the edits. I did check some of them, but obviously they need to be inspected more thoroughly. Thanks! GregorB (talk) 20:57, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
Re Provenance
Unfortunately I have no idea of the artist for the file in question, it was merely a photograph I took of the painting in an old friend's house, so I have no further information about the original. Ը२ձւե๓ձռ17 14:19, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Articles for Creation reviewers normally move a draft from user space into draft space to review it. I have never previously dealt with a draft in user space that was admin-move-protected, so that I could not move it into draft space. I see that there has been a history of the user moving it into article space when it was not ready for article space, and it may never be ready for article space. However, would it be possible instead to create-protect the title in article space? Is this really a special case that needs to be dealt with differently than any other self-promoter? We can discuss, but in my experience admin-move-protecting a user page that is really a draft article is unusual. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:44, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
By the way, is the page in question an autobiography? Robert McClenon (talk) 03:44, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks again and happy holiday
Dear DragonflySixtyseven,
Merry Christmas to you! I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful time (after a strange year).
I haven't contributed much to WP in the past months but I well remember you reviewed “my” Dust mite article. I asked you one question about the review history – maybe you had overlooked it, but it´s not important (the Whydidyoudothat didn´t help me).
Thanks again for your "review work" in 2020 and enjoy the time between the years! --F.Blaubiget (talk) 10:17, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

The article Struldbrugg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) requirement. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar, the word is occasionally used but either in plot summaries or a case could be made it is a form of WP:DICTDEF and a rare neologism (but there is no analysis of the term itself). If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

George (Everett) Klippert article
Hello DS,
I don't know if this is the right place to respond. I could not figure out how to leave a message on your talk page.
Re: My addendum to the George Klippert article.
I'm sure the Gay rights organizations and publications know about Everett's expungement by now. If this information was not made public when the order was given in mid-November, it should be public knowledge by now. The one person outside of Everett's family who was notified, when the letter from the parole board was received in January, was Mr. Kevin Allen in Calgary. He was instrumental, along with Everett's niece and myself, in getting the expungement process going. Mr. Allen is a local Gay rights activist and researcher who is well-connected with other researchers and activists and LGBT publications.
Thank you for your response.

Template return values from user data
Hello Mr. Dragnoflysixtyseven,
I have problem with finding the right magic words/keys using templates. I cannot find any function which returns for how long i have been on Wikipedia, or at least when i have created my account... so not "CURRENTDATE" or similar, but the genesis itself

Orphaned non-free image File:Harnett T. Kane, circa 1954.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Harnett T. Kane, circa 1954.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hmm
So now you'll threaten me by putting a warning on my page or getting a buddy to block me. You clearly think your opinion is more valid than mine. You'll wrap your arguments in wiki-speak and get the WPC (Wiki Protective Cabal) to support you. This is why wiki has so few serious editors and most of those who do only edit at a low space. And you guys wonder why. SMH. Seven Pandas (talk) 09:16, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Query
Hello, DragonflySixtyseven,
I stumbled upon an odd situation with this page. This page apparently was userfied and then a speedy deletion was requested based on CSD U1. I have deleted pages in this editor's user space before that I thought were their page creations and now I'm kicking myself for not examining them more thoroughly. It looks like you were the actual page creator so I wanted to know what you thought. Liz Read! Talk! 00:42, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

- @Cabayi: @Serial Number 54129: OK, I think I have at least got JeffcoCommServices to stop editing their organization's article for now. Now, can we sort this out so they have a clear set of instructions?

- Are they going to remain unblocked, and therefore request a new name through WP:CHUS?

Ok to create the deleted Infinity Chamber article?
Hello - seems you may have deleted an early attempt to create an article re Infinity Chamber, a remarkable, notable and cerebral 2017 film (imo) - the film is about artificial intelligence and is the only one (afaik) on the List of artificial intelligence films without a current Wikipedia article - I would like to try to create the article (at least for starters) if possible - the film seems better than several of my own earlier related Wikipedia articles, like A.I. Rising and The Machine - several reviews[1][2][3][4][5] may be relevant - there may be more after a bit more study - hopefully, creating such an article would be ok with you - in any case - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 01:54, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
- Done - The Infinity Chamber article has now been created - at least for starters - hope it's *entirely* ok of course - thank you for your help with this - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 13:00, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
@DragonflySixtyseven: BRIEF Followup - seems the "Somnio" "WP:Redirect" page is now important and useful to the newly created "Infinity Chamber" article since "Somnio" is/was another title for the "Infinity Chamber" film - but it seems a bot or related tagged the "Talk:Somnio" page for deletion? - perhaps this possibility-to-be-deleted page and related can now be be corrected and updated - Thank You in advance for your help with this - in any case - Stay Safe and Healthy !! - Drbogdan (talk) 16:49, 24 April 2021 (UTC)

Igor Karassik
The sourced article doesn't state nobility, it states aristocracy, which might mean either nobility or highly wealthy class. In the case of Karassik, it was the latter - he was a grandson of merchants - the 1-percenters of the Russian empire (or in case of his mother's side - the 0.1-percenters). As far as the nobility, there was a small number of Jewish citizens of the Russian empire, who were granted nobility either due to the years of service to the state, decision of the emperor, or other reasons. Also nobles of other countries, who lived in the Russian empire, were recognized as nobles by the state.

User:Worldchance subpages
Hi, in 2011 you deleted User:Worldchance/1 as "inappropriate use of userpage".
In 2012 the same editor created User:Worldchance/I, User:Worldchance/II, User:Worldchance/III, User:Worldchance/IV, User:Worldchance/V, User:Worldchance/VI and User:Worldchance/VII, likewise continuing the fantasy biography of Alexis Free. This person is inter alia claimed to have been the protagonist Caitlin in 6teen, a role that was actually performed by Brooke D'Orsay; to be married to Henry Cavill; and to be the subject of a documentary by Anthony Mandler. The entire construction is wholly unreferenced and appears to be false. There is no trace of this person on IMDb. There is a website alexis.com showing a child actor, but no evidence at archive.org of the other websites claimed on the page /VII.
There is also User:Worldchance/template, filled with fake links, and the index page User:Worldchance/Works.
User:Worldchance/C is about another fake person.
Can the whole set be summarily deleted as WP:U5, or is it worth listing them at WP:MfD for the record? – Fayenatic London 22:16, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Renaming File:HSB logo.svg
Hello
You renamed this file without a prior rename request or any reason as to why you renamed it in the edit summary. What was your basis in the renaming?Jonteemil (talk) 21:32, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Jonteemil: I renamed the file "HSB logo" so as to avoid having it be confused with the logos of HSB Televisión, Hang Seng Bank, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, the Haub School of Business, Helgeland Sparebank, or Hill Street Blues, all of which have an equal — if not greater — claim to the initials "HSB". Filenames should be such that if someone else uploads another file with the same name, it cannot be an image of something unrelated. True, the upload wizard warns people that they have selected a filename already in use - but people don't always read warnings and error messages instead of just clicking through. Maximize usability by humans. DS (talk) 23:53, 24 May 2021 (UTC)
FRINGE and unsourced contributions by 38.126.71.24
I think we collided on looking back through some of 38.126.71.24's contributions. My opinion is that I haven't gone back far enough yet, but I'm out of time for today. Some of the contributions might stand, but there's a marked 1tendency to add either unsourced or poorly sourced FRINGE material. My initial impression is that the Dykes film and the John Judge book fall into this category as well. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:02, 26 May 2021 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Category:Members of the National Puzzlers' League requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. - RevelationDirect (talk) 23:06, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, DragonflySixtyseven,
- While technically this CSD tagging is accurate, this CFD decision was 14 years so I removed the speedy tag. It can always go back to WP:CFD. Unlike AFD deletion decisions which can be overcome by working with a Draft article and going through the AFC process, there is nothing similar for categories and I think that's a flaw in the system. Category deletion decisions should not be impossible to challenge at a later date. Liz Read! Talk! 00:36, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
