Question

This is not a final decision, so no deleting it, but what do you need to do, if I ever decide to have my userpage deleted? (JoeCool950 (talk) 03:58, 1 December 2014 (UTC))

Add {{db-u1}} to the top of your user page and it will get deleted in short order. Please note, that template can't be used on the talk page, only the actual user page. - Dravecky (talk) 07:46, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
Do not know if I want to put template up. My choice though (JoeCool950 (talk) 06:54, 7 December 2014 (UTC))

Can you please email me...

Can you please email me because I don't know how to erase or ask anything for that matter in this form. This is trial and error and no on cares about the new kid on the block.I feel very unwelcome and there is no fair checks and balances from what I see so far. Is some editing just for the sake of it because you see a new lamb trying to join the group? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soccerumors (talkcontribs) 07:09, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi. I'm an editor and administrator here on Wikipedia so I'm constantly trying to create new articles, improve existing articles, and maintain the integrity of articles per Wikipedia policies. As you read the help pages, you'll see a lot about "BLP", short for the biographies of living people. It's very important that we only add information that can be found in reliable sources such as news reports, official publications of notable organizations, and expert websites. There are so-called publishers that gather Wikipedia articles around a common subject then try to sell it online as a book, often for an exorbitant price. Since that book is made up of Wikipedia articles, it can't be used as an independent source to verify those same Wikipedia articles. - Dravecky (talk) 09:21, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Fair enough. I completely agree with you but other than that source, all the other sources where good. You saw my article, what would you do or what does one do when someone new here like myself keeps correcting incorrect statements or poorly sourced ones?Isn't it our moral obligating as journalists to treat every one equally. Just because he is not Michael Jordan, doesn't make it all right?.If I added all those facts to an existing article with each being sourced twiceI I will then just will try improve on his current article rather than start a new one correctly which I didn't know was not acceptable. Im upset because there are statements on his original article that are completely incorrect. I will try correct an existing article next time than creating new ones. I apologize on that. If you have any advice on what can be done when you edit an article please share it with me. Some incorrect facts are very incorrect like even his name is not Nick, its Nicholas,he didn't play for 2 years but for eight and I could go on and on. Im new to this forum and believe we all make mistakes but when one tries to correct an article as I did prior to this one it gets sliced to pieces. How can one prove something is a fact? I will try again to correct what is incorrect on the existing article, but I do appreciate your candor and yes I agree with you but that doesn't mean there should be information on a article if they purely don't have a purpose other than to be bias because stating some one tried out for a team many times before he made isn't good journalism, its irrelevant. I thought I would point out a few examples to get your advice on the matter and who ever is editing his article is putting us in a huge liability for saying he has Chrons. That right there is a violation of his HIPPA rights. Il try again. Thanks again and hopefully I can ask you for advice in the future again. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Soccerumors (talkcontribs) 05:54, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

If you can find published sources from reliable third parties (like newspapers or magazines) to support an assertion then it can be added to the article. News reports that show him playing for the Dallas Sidekicks during those other years or even the Dallas Sidekicks media guides that show him as an active member of the team, not the practice squad. (The standards are the same for all professional athlete articles in all sports. The practice squad is not the team.) Also, your writing on your user pages make it unclear whether you are "Caesar" or "Nicholas". And HIPAA only applies to medical providers and insurance companies, not newspapers or encyclopedias. Before pursuing that line, you should read and understand WP:LEGAL. - Dravecky (talk) 07:21, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Czech Stop and Little Czech Bakery, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mother Jones. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
