Hello DrillbitDigitalExcutive. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:DrillbitDigitalExcutive. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=DrillbitDigitalExcutive|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:33, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I understand your concern of it being conflict of interest but in my case I am not compensated by the organization in any form. I used their software and felt like making their page since they are growing in the market.
I hope you do take the best decision of any form. Thank you. DrillbitDigitalExcutive (talk) 16:41, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:DrillbitDigitalExcutive, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. [edit]
Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or website, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:37, 12 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I am sorry for making an article about an organization. I would like to appeal for an unblock and will make sure this won't be an issue again.
Also, Could you please reinstate my username to Digibitexecutive.
Thank you DrillbitDigitalExcutive (talk) 06:20, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I believe the page is legit and should be known to people since its for educational purpose DrillbitDigitalExcutive (talk) 05:43, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You don't answer the questions I posed in my statement below, and your choice of new username in your below request is no better; a username cannot be that of a position. 331dot (talk) 08:31, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm confused, you said above that you weren't compensated by the organization, but then you attempted to make a paid editing disclosure(you have, perhaps inadvertently, "nowiki" tags around in preventing proper display). Please detail the general nature of your relationship with this topic. Wikipedia is not merely an educational forum. Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources choose on their own to say about topics that meet our criteria, and with a neutral point of view. You also have not proposed a new username as instructed. 331dot (talk) 09:19, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Sory for the article which I have posted, Had no idea that you can post an article about any organization, I believe the topic about the article about the organization is legit and it was with fair point of view and not any biased information and with proper citations. If you can delete the article deletion would be nice as you can see about the organization on the inter about it being legit. Also, Please unblock me and I won't edit or post any such articles if you still believe the article should'nt be posted, Thank you

Decline reason:

Duplicate request. Only a single open request is needed at a time. Additonal comments should be made without the unblock request template. 331dot (talk) 08:31, 14 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft contained "These connections boost productivity and uphold academic integrity by giving educators and institutions easy access to plagiarism detection solutions right within their current processes". That is promotional even if you do not see it. You will not be unblocked to write about the software. If that is your only goal, this is the end of the line. If however, you want to edit topics where you do not have a conflict of interest, then tell us what they are in your next unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 19:39, 16 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I agree that I mentioned of deletion of speed deletion of the post. Since now that I know I cannot post an article with any conflict of interest and it is not possible. I won't even try now posting anything about the article so kindly just unblock me and you won't see any edits related to this or any such articles from my side.
