Pimpri-Chinchwad
[edit]Hi! Pimpri-Chinchwad is not a part of Pune but a twin city of Pune with its own local government. It is also defined as a separate city in the 2011 Census of India. Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are both Municipal corporations and as such have similar but separate administration. Similar examples would be Navi Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan-Dombivli which are considered suburban Mumbai but are cities in their own right.
