[edit]Hello, I'm Itcouldbepossible. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Boxmeer Castle have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks. ItcouldbepossibleTalk 13:50, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Boxmeer Castle. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Bingobro (Chat) 13:52, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hi there, I had reverted your edit as the category appeared to be a red link, I stand corrected and your edit was clearly done in good faith. Cheers! Bingobro (Chat) 13:57, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Categories
[edit]Hello, Erfoal01g,
On Wikipedia, if an editor wants a category to be renamed, deleted or merged, they make a nomination at Categories for Discussion and then editors discuss the possible change and whether they agree with the proposal. What you did is empty categories "out of process" which is really discouraged. Please do not do this again, make a proposal at CFD where you can lay out the reasons for the category changes you seek.
Also, you are not using the correct criteria for speedy deletion. Do not tag any more pages for deletion until you have reviewed Criteria for Speedy Deletion. You can't just put "Delete" and then make up your own reason why a page should be deleted, there are strict, agreed-upon criteria that valid for speedy deletion. Tagging pages for deletion is made simpler if you make use of Twinkle, an editing program. When you use Twinkle to tag a page, it will create an appropriate edit summary and, more importantly, post a notification on the talk page of the page creator once you set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator". This step is part of a page or file deletion process that can not be omitted.
So, you took a lot of editing shortcuts today in the work you did. If you plan on spending more time editing on this project, you'll have to work within the guidelines of Wikipedia and according to the policies that have developed here over the past 20 years. If you have questions about any of this, please bring them to the Teahouse, a place where newer editors can raise questions and concerns and more experienced editors can offer advice and support. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:44, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:55, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
