hey how did you come up with that user name? (Patrick 08:41, 12 July 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Probably a reference to Schala, a Chrono Trigger character. If there's another use of the term, Wikipedia doesn't know it, as of over seven years after you asked that question. --BDD (talk) 22:59, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

D&D articles for Wikipedia 0.7

[edit]

Hi there!  :)

As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 19:07, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you uploaded Image:Snes2.jpg and added it to Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Unfortunately, the image is of such low quality that I had to remove it from the article. I hope you will clean the console and take a new picture that is correctly focused; you should also set your camera to a higher resolution and do not resize the image. Thanks! Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Eternalschala! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Nomination of Summer's Eve for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Summer's Eve, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Summer's Eve until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. cymru lass (hit me up)(background check) 07:13, 10 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

99.5 is channel 258, not 256

[edit]

Do you know the formula for converting from FM frequencies (99.5 FM) to channel numbers (channel 258)?? Georgia guy (talk) 01:06, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is the formula to multiply by 5 (99.5 * 5 = 497.5, 99.1 * 5 = 495.5) and then subtract 239.5 (497.5 - 239.5 = 258, 495.5 - 239.5 = 256)?? Georgia guy (talk) 01:15, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is the correct formula for determining FM channel numbers as used by the FCC. --Schala 01:17, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited WKLI-FM, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Classic Rock (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

WKBE/WWFG-FM

[edit]

Hi Schala, I've switched the articles at WKBE and WWFG-FM per your request. I've also updated the fair-use rationales for the images used in both. I was hoping you could see to updates of incoming links, however. Not being familiar with the subjects, it's going to be really hard for me to tell which station a given use is referring to. Hm. Maybe I'll add hatnotes. Thanks, BDD (talk) 22:55, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We at Wikipedia love evidence-based medicine. Please cite high-quality reliable sources. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations. A list of resources to help edit such articles can be found here. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Old wqbk.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Old wqbk.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 26 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
