Speedy deletion nomination of Iphone 8's
Hello ItsDaBunnyYT,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Iphone 8's for deletion, because it appears to duplicate an existing Wikipedia article, iPhone.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Hello, I'm Darius robin. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to iPhone have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Darius robin (talk) 12:09, 17 September 2017 (UTC)
Reliable sources
Please note that I have reverted your edits to Paris Smith as you added information to the article that is not supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources include independent sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy (tertiary websites such as movie and celebrity databases do not meet the criteria). For the specific guidelines and instructions related to biographies and birth dates, please see WP:BLP and WP:DOB. Thank you,-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 17:42, 24 September 2020 (UTC)
No conflict of interest
Hi Ethan, noting your username, if you have a personal relationship with the subjects of any articles, such as Laurel Parmet, it would be best to disclose such WP:Conflicts of Interest. It is best to avoid editing articles about yourself, your family, or friends. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way. See Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide for a basic introduction to the subject.
Perhaps see also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with close associations.
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Anon423 (talk) 19:46, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
While I do share the same last name as the person in the article, I have never met the person in real life, not have spoken to her online.
Ethan Parmet (talk) 22:10, 5 March 2021 (UTC)- Thanks. I've copy-pasted your reply from my own talk page to here for future reference. --Anon423 (talk) 23:09, 5 March 2021 (UTC)

Comment on Gabby Petito and MWWS
Hi, I would appreciate it if you would comment on whether it should be stated in the lead of the Gabby Petito article if its gotten a lot of attention because of missing white women syndrome. .CaptainPrimo (talk) 23:56, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- It is possible that it could be given a mention in the article, but I do not think it should go in the lead of the article. Perhaps it should go in a separate section regarding media coverage and public reaction. It is not an important or defining matter of her death, and shouldn't be put in the spotlight of the article. Thanks

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Myron Levoy moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Myron Levoy, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:19, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

- @SunDawn: Thank you so much! I enjoy researching for articles like these. It started out as a translation of a stub-like Spanish article with no inline citations, so I sought out to prove them myself. Introduction to contentious topics
You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
