Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Thanks for uploading File:Alita Battle Angel poster.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:24, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Peter Parker disambiguation page
Hi Facu-el Millo, I just wanted to let you know I reviewed your recent changes at Peter Parker and I reverted the article back to its previous redirect. The reason I did this was because Spider-Man is currently the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for this subject and Peter Parker should redirect to it. We have a disambiguation page at Peter Parker (disambiguation) if you believe that this disambiguation page should be at Peter Parker instead please request for that article to be moved to Peter Parker to resolve the issue and keep page histories intact. may i ask why you undid my edit to black panther? --SacredDragonX (talk) 23:09, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
- @SacredDragonX: About Nakia, you changed 'an' to 'and' as if it were a grammar mistake, when indeed it was explaining what a War Dog is. About M'Baku, 'protest' refers to the Jabari tribe, not just to him. El Millo (talk) 23:42, 10 May 2019 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Incredible Hulk (film). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. WP:REVEXP WP:ROWN Musdan77 (talk) 17:52, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
Stop reverting my edits without a good reason and/or discussion! Did you not read the first bullet point above? I gave links to 2 MOS pages. What is it about those you don't understand? (Plus WP:ROWN) Neither is about article titles. I should have given this link for the first one: WP:Manual_of_Style/Abbreviations#Countries_and_multinational_unions but if you had just scrolled up a little, you would have seen it. I could copy and paste the quotes here, but it's just ridiculous to insisted on writing out "United States" in an infobox about an American movie, and it's "unconstructive". The page File:King's Man logo.jpg has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise failed some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, you can re-upload it, but you must ensure you place the correct tag on it. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion Review — JJMC89 (T·C) 03:44, 9 July 2019 (UTC)

- @Hhggtg3279: I take regard. I check all the edits in between. I revert to the last best state of the article. In any case, it was your edits in particular that needed to be reverted. El Millo (talk) 01:07, 15 July 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I need help with User:Hhggtg3279. He keeps changing "MJ" to Mary Jane Watson or Michelle Gonzales only because the MJ character of the MCU is based off of them. If you can, read my talk entry on Avengers Endgame where I explain why it is an independent production. Hiphats 01:10, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Hiphats: I read it. I just don't consider it valid, unless reliable sources are cited. If not, it is original research. Besides, I doubt Marvel Studios and Lucasfilms are studios that produce independent films. El Millo (talk) 01:18, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
MCU Cast and Characters
Hey, it doesn't matter to me which version of the cast and characters we use. I just put the current versions on the pages because it was a quick copy and I mostly just added it because I was trying to get all the main things that could go on a page for each Phase. Feel free to change to the other version if you want. I agree that the current version may be a bit much.
I also added some templates to certain sections on a couple of the pages such as expanding the section or actually just adding some info like the history section for phase 2, so if you have anything to add to those, please do. -- Zoo (talk) 00:44, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- Using Phase One as an example, it definitely looks better now. However, do we not want to still include the One-Shot casts? -- Zoo (talk) 03:45, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- That sounds like a good idea. -- Zoo (talk) 04:18, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- Just finished adding all the references other than cast and characters to Phase Three as I'm sure some will be added and others removed when you update the section. After you're done with the cast and character update and missing refs are added to Phase 3, then I think all 4 articles will be pretty much ready to be moved to main articles if that is the consensus. -- Zoo (talk) 20:50, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry to keep bothering you. I know the section is for recurring characters which works for the MCU as a whole but I think for phases maybe it could be changed to recurring and/or appeared on the billing block. That way major characters and villains that only appeared in one movie can be included like Killmonger, Vulture, Mysterio, Hela, Ultron etc. -- Zoo (talk) 21:59, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
- Not all characters would be listed. Just ones that are billed at the top of posters or in Infinity War's case, some from the bottom of the poster. In most cases it will only add 1-4 more names per movie. Seems weird not to have the Guardians or Ant-Man in phase 2 since they only had one movie. The problem is that there is no Avengers movie in phase 4 and as far as we know, the only character that'll appear in at least 2 things is Scarlet Witch in WandaVision and DS 2. If that's the case, the phase 4 cast section is going to be very minimal compared to other phases. -- Zoo (talk) 04:42, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- I know you're probably right. It just feels weird that the titular heroes of movies aren't listed and I think it's just a preference to me that heroes and villains would be listed together. I know all characters for a movie are on that movie's main page, but in this case the main characters would all be in one place. Oh well. It's not really a big deal. The cast sections do look better than they did. -- Zoo (talk) 05:01, 4 August 2019 (UTC)

Chris Columbus
It's been a precedent that films with two official titles in different countries will use the name of the film in each article according to the nationality of the articles subject. Since Columbus is an American, and Sorcerers Stone is an official title in the United States, and officially the film is a US production, this particular article uses the American title. It always has. Please do not change it.--JOJ Hutton 15:40, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
Thanos draft
Hey, I'm pretty new to the editing of drafts and I saw that you edited some of the pages that were created for MCU characters like Iron Man and Thor. I was wondering if you thought it'd be worth putting any effort into Draft:Thanos (Marvel Cinematic Universe)? He's the big bad of the Infinity Saga so I think he should get a page since he's very notable in pop culture these days. However, I wasn't sure if that would be enough for him to get his own page like the original 6 Avengers. If there is no chance of the draft being moved to a main page someday, I don't want to waste my time editing it. -- Zoo (talk) 03:01, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks. I left him a message so I guess I'll see what happens. -- Zoo (talk) 03:54, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Endgame box office total in lede
Thanks for all of your edits & additions to the Marvel pages! Just wanted to give my reasoning for changing the box office total in the lede to 2.8B --> It officially passed 2.795 which can correctly be rounded up to 2.8. I'm for implementing "2.8" instead of "over 2.79". The exact amount is listed in the info-box. Cheers! SassyCollins (talk) 14:06, 12 August 2019 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!
Greetings!
After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.
On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:
- Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
- Diversity winner
- Gender-gap fillers
For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. For further inquiries, please leave comments on the contest talkpage or on the main project talkpage. See you around :).--Jamie Tubers (talk) 00:50, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Scott Lang plaudits?
Hi. As you clearly have greater facility with the awards templates, can you transfer the Ant-Man-relevant awards from List of awards and nominations received by Paul Rudd into a table at Draft:Scott Lang (Marvel Cinematic Universe)? I note that some of the awards in the former article are unsourced, so I suppose it would be best to only go with those with sources for now. bd2412 T 03:35, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

Spider-Man: Far From Home
Rather than revert and revert back, this is probably a good time to discuss the issue at Talk:Spider-Man: Far From Home and come to a constructive resolution. —C.Fred (talk) 22:00, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- @C.Fred: I don't think it's worth discussing, at least not yet. What I usually do in these cases is leave it as it is, and wait for other editors to either revert it or leave it. Articles like this one are watched by a lot of very good editors whose judgment I trust. If they consider Looney Guy's changes to be for the better, I'm good. El Millo (talk) 22:08, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- At two reverts each, I figured an invitation to discuss was probably a good idea. It's a softer touch than a 3RR reminder if it'd gone one edit further. :) But leaving it as is for now works too. —C.Fred (talk) 22:22, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- Just to be clear, my re-reversion to the status quo ante and protection of the page is not intended as an endorsement of either formulation. I don't see anything out of bounds with Looney Guy's edits, although I don't find them to be necessary either. BD2412 T 22:27, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- @BD2412: Isn't full protection a bit... excessive? The change is minimal and the issue is practically non-existent. El Millo (talk) 22:36, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- It was requested at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, and I answered the request. I don't see anything else going on in the article that militates against it. BD2412 T 22:42, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!
