List edits
[edit]Can you explain why you are making several edits to lists to place actor names in a seemingly random order instead of alphabetical? It is not clear to me why you are doing this. Nohomersryan (talk) 19:24, 25 March 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. livelikemusic (TALK!) 14:26, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kingston, Missouri, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Caldwell County Courthouse. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:54, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
Unexplained deletion of sourced material
[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Meryl Streep, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Deseret Peak Utah Temple.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Deseret Peak Utah Temple.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:27, 9 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to St Pancras railway station, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
Really not a good idea. If you're ever tempted again to move a page that's this 'big', then you will really need to discuss it first. Andy Dingley (talk) 23:09, 11 August 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Untitled Ryan Coogler film, without good reason. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia.
