The Forbes article says that he acquired the "gamemaker Sega in 1969" - was Sega extant in 1969? (i'm not a gamer, so dunno). Ceoil (talk) 01:57, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- ps, thanks for edits, the article is long due an overhaul, given how fascinating the character. Ceoil (talk) 02:00, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- No problem! FlamencoReturns (talk) 02:11, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Yes. The company was founded in 1960 under the name Nihon Goraku Bussan, which merged with Rosen Enterprises and changed its name to Sega Enterprises, Ltd. in 1965. G&W later acquired an 80% stake in the company in 1969. FlamencoReturns (talk) 02:07, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks.
I don't known why you have been reverting mention of Gulf and Western; are you paid by Paramount? If so, you should disclose on your user page.Ceoil (talk) 02:17, 11 October 2023 (UTC)- I don’t think I did that…? or at least, that wasn’t what I intended to do. And no, im not paid by anyone. FlamencoReturns (talk) 02:22, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Then sorry, I misunderstood. Happy editing, and shame there is not footage of Bluhdorn and Yablans shouting at each other :) Ceoil (talk) 02:26, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

United States Military Government in Puerto Rico moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, United States Military Government in Puerto Rico, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
Feel free to ping me when you're ready to send this draft to review. I'll try my best to swing by and review it for you to get it back on main space asap. Your article is important and offers a lot here so if there's anything else I can do to help you please reach out. Dr vulpes (💬 • 📝) 04:52, 20 December 2023 (UTC)

Insular Government of Puerto Rico moved to draftspace

Alvaro Carta moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Alvaro Carta, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) It isn’t clear from the sources provided that the subject of the article meets WP:BIO. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
