[edit]

Hello! I'm a bot created by another Wikipedia editor. I wanted to let you know that I removed a link that you recently added to the page Language Integrated Query here. I did this because http://planetofcoders.blogspot.com/2011/11/what-is-linq.html is probably inappropriate for an encyclopedia. We usually avoid linking to blogs, forums, and social media sites.

We appreciate your help in making Wikipedia better for everyone. If I made a mistake, feel free to undo my edit. If you have any questions, you can ask at the Help desk.

Thank you! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:40, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spamming

[edit]

Before adding a possibly inappropriate external link to an article, please discuss the changes on the article's talk page first, as this is normally considered spam. You are welcome to continue contributing, but please keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, and failure to abide by these policies could unfortunately get you blocked or even banned. Thank you. Abolen (talk) 09:37, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Delegate do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You added your blog to three articles. I'm only including one here. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
