Blocked IP
As soon as your block against them expired, 46.148.194.254 made the same edit. Do you think it is appropriate to protect the page now or block them for longer? Xfansd (talk) 20:23, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Xfansd: I'm reluctant to protect a page against one IP at this point. I've blocked them for a fortnight, and after that it might be time for pending changes rather than semi, but let's cross that bridge if we come to it. GedUK 07:30, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
- Looks like an hour after you replied above a new IP, 213.87.136.254, made the exact same edit. As I pointed out, the same person has used multiple IPs over the past several months making this type of edit. I'm not a reviewer and therefore won't be the one having to deny or approve all the pending changes. As long as the users reviewing are aware of the article's edit warring history I guess that type of protection will work, but there's no way to guarantee that. Xfansd (talk) 01:03, 11 July 2018 (UTC)
