Tagging deletion discussions
Hi, Gene93k,
I noticed that you have some experience tagging deletion discussions. I put in time at CfD and end up posting a lot of notices regarding Categories that are up for deletion, merging or renaming. Are the deletion sorting tags for AfDs put on their manually or by automation? I'd like to make use of these when relevant categories are under discussion.
Thanks for any help you can provide. Liz Read! Talk! 15:18, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
Deletion sorting
The Invisible Barnstar | ||
Both when I close AfDs, and nominate them, I always see you around making sure they're categorized properly. While it's a task somewhat in the background, more eyes on an AfD are always welcome and your work helps greatly with that. Thank you and keep up the good work! Ben Gurion High School
Hi, I came across Ben Gurion High School clicking the "random article" link last week. There was no info in the article (an issue since 2010) and high schools don't seem inherently notable so I nominated it for deletion. Unfortunately, I think I used the wrong process and you undid my nomination. I re-nominated and tried to follow the rules this time, and it looks like you (or your bot) helped me with the third step. So thanks. But because I am interested in learning more about the Wikipedia community and how to help out within the boundaries of the rules, can you not auto-undo my nomination without discussion? Or alternatively, if I have missed a step or am doing it wrong, can you suggest the correct way? Thanks in advance. Alphachimera (talk) 17:12, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
Deletion review for Warky T. Chocobo
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Warky T. Chocobo. Because you closed the deletion discussion for this page, speedily deleted it, or otherwise were interested in the page, you might want to participate in the deletion review. LTC b2412 Troops Talk RFC Inbox 17:06, 29 October 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for sorting out the AfD submission I was having trouble with.--Derek Andrews (talk) 13:51, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
I don't think that the page on Jafar ibn Ali,(martyr of Karbala)should be deleted. If it merely states his martyrdom and his relation with Imam Hussein, even then it is giving me some information. Therefore,I am not in favour of deleting it — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.110.114.15 (talk) 20:13, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
Hi thank you for your email. I was merely corrected errors of fact about Huntlee. If you prefer not to accept my changes I would prefer that the whole Huntlee page is deleted.
Yes I do work for the company that is developing this community and that is why I care that the content is correct.
On the subject of user names I wouldn't have chosen that name had there been any obvious information when I signed up.
Additionally I have made changes to Ellenbrook WA as your content was extremely old our date and contained errors of fact. Again can we delete this page if you do not accept my changes. I have been involved in the Ellenbrook project since 1998 LWPPropertyGroup (talk) 01:52, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

Kenjiro Yoshigasaki
I have added new footnotes and inline references. How we can close the AfD discussion to merge all(Ki No Kenkyukai Int Assc, Kenkodo) articles to Kenjiro Yoshigasaki?

Feathercoin copy?
Hi I noticed you wanted to keep the Feathercoin article. Do you happen to have a copy somewhere? I'm on a mission to rescue coin related WP articles about to be deleted by copying them to coinwiki.info, but I was a bit too late with FTC :/ Guaka (talk) 17:24, 24 December 2013 (UTC)

ARIA Trilogy by Geoff Nelder
Good day. Thank you for taking the trouble to consider my science fiction / medical mystery series. I believe you have an issue with the premise within it. I conjured up the notion of a what if. In this case what if amnesia is infectious, further that no one is immune, people lose memory in a retrograde fashion at the rate of a year's worth per week, and the cause is an alien adenovirus. I spent two years researching the topic of amnesia through two neurologists and I am a friend of the president of the British Alzheimer Society and discussed much with him on the effects of amnesia. This research revealsed there is no such condition in reality as infectious amnesia. It is unique to fiction. Further research shows it is unique to my novel. No one has used the concept of retrograde infectious amnesia in a book or film as far as I and my agent and many luminary science fiction writers understand.
I would be grateful if you would indicate exactly what your issue is with my fictionalised concept and so perhaps we might resolve the problem.
Best regards,
Geoff Nelder — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.52.29.196 (talk) 23:34, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
