I think your edits were made in good faith and some of it can be used in the article, but there is also a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest issue if you're paid to edit about the subject. ~ Shushugah (he/him • talk) 16:50, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

I was reading through the diffs of what you were trying to add. I don't want to get into any specifics of policy details as I believe that has or will be thoroughly explained by others. I would like to point out an issue about content. I did extensive research of Catharine when writing the article about her. I do not think it proper to include her as a notable person from Guntersville, Alabama because it was not Guntersville, Alabama when she lived there. The city was not incorporated or named Guntersville until about 1848 which was over a decade after the forced removal of Cherokee from lands in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama. Catharine was born in a place called Creek Path. You can read this in her memoirs located at the University of Virginia Library or in her biography written by Donna R. Causey. As I said, I don't believe its proper to include her in a list of notables from the city of Guntersville, however, if you are going to list her because she was from that area then proper attribution should be given to the name of where she was born in the Guntersville area.
