Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Harrison candelaria fletcher. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Harrison Candelaria Fletcher, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 13:07, 14 July 2017 (UTC)

Welcome and a few pieces of advice/information
[edit]Hey Harrison. There are a few issues with what you're trying to post. I can understand you want your article to be up to date and accurate, but it's unlikely the content you've suggested be put on the article will be accepted. Here are the issues.
- The first edit's content appears to be from your website, http://www.harrisoncandelariafletcher.com/ . It's copyrighted material, and therefore we can't use it on Wikipedia.
- This edit's content is fairly promotional in tone. We try to keep things on Wikipedia neutral and descriptive. I'd advise trying to write something fresh and dialing that back.
- Your further edits were fine, but should be requested as outlined before.
- Along these lines, please provide sources (written, or online urls) which back up the edits you're making.
- Per our COI Policy you should request edits to the page. If you try to make these edits on the page yourself they'll almost certainly be reverted, so I'd advise using the {{Request edit}} template. This will flag somebody to come and review your edits.
- Also, it would broadly be advisable to email info-en@wikimedia.org to confirm your identity, especially if you wish to edit beyond this page.
If you have questions on any of this, feel free to reach out to me at my talk page. NativeForeigner Talk 16:57, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
