The article Minnesota supercomputing institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article that was from userspace but was moved without much improvement. Still needs work, I'm going to let the author know on his talk page
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. elektrikSHOOS 20:33, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've changed the title to University of Minnesota Supercomputing Institute and added an "orphan" tag indicating that no other articles currently link to that one. I've also brought the article closer to the usual Wikipedia conventions found in WP:MOS, including lower-case letters in headings and bolding of the title phrase at its first appearance.
- I doubt that notability is really an issue. If there's not enough evidence of notability in the article now, that probably means at most that some additional information should be put there. Michael Hardy (talk) 00:41, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your recent contributions, such as Minnesota supercomputing institute. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft version first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, without the risk of speedy deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. elektrikSHOOS 20:33, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
