re 3rd party

hi there hmwith ~ i was wondering about the process of getting a 3rd party to look at the discussion, as you know. my question is, what if the person who actually takes it to the Admin team does not have the time to really stick around and participate? is it more of a handing it over, and there is no need for the editors to really be a part of the process? if so, i will probably ask for a bit more advice and then will go ahead and do it myself. thanks a bunch! Need advice

Hello

My first article was subjected to a speedy deletion, which is not surprising, since I'm new to Wikipedia. Since you are the editor who deleted it, I wanted to ask you some advise. To save you time, I will just list the steps and logic I used, so you can correct me where I'm wrong: 1. I was visiting this page : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_project_management_software and decided to add new software to the list. I added 5pm (www.5pmweb.com) (it's deleted now because of " addition with no article") 2. After I noticed that there is actually no article on Wikipedia about 5pm, I decided to write one. 3. Firstly, I checked the other articles in this section and found out that many are marked with "This article is written like an advertisement". So I decided to avoid it. In order to do that I used as a template the articles that were not marked like that. Example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teamwork_(software) 4. I created a 5pm page, pretty much following the same template - just listed the facts 5. I also added two external references (independent third party reviews) from PCWorld and WebWorkerDaily - both solid websites. 6. When I was checking later my article, I found out that the PCWorld link leads to an empty page: http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/151257/5pm_easy_customizable_project_management.html . This is not a broken link - something happen to the article, and PCWorld still has the link to it internally. I contacted their support and they told me they will fix it.

My article got deleted anyway, though I followed the same model as other existing articles. May be the you checked my external links and found out the empty PCWorld page? Should I re-submit the article when the link is fixed?

Please let me know if I'm not doing it right. I mainly try to follow other articles for now, to try to learn from others.

I also plan to use this knowledge to write other articles, so any advise or correction will be appreciated.

How can I prove that I have the right to use the references to the websites I'm using text from? I have permission from the website creators of [www.stephengause.com] and [1], in order to use his bio and history from there. Please let me know how I can edit and reference this page in order for it to be posted.
